That's because 90% of the time they aren't "cutting us off" they are moving into an open space, as is their right. If you are acting in a way that you wouldn't if you were behnind them driving a fiat 500, then you are in the wrong.

I just find it funny that half the time it is his fault.. NYC is a no filter/splitting state. So when you filter and someone changes the lanes ahead of you. Bumper to bumper traffic amplifies the negatives of a traffic jam, only increasing the duration it'll last. Sufficient space cushions and maintaining a speed will resolve a traffic jam. I'm not saying that's why he left a space cushion, but leaving sufficient space and maintaining a speed will get everyone to where they want to be sooner than riding on top one another. We have a few highways nearby with variable speed limits to relieve congestion, but they don't work as nobody understands that ignoring the variable speed limit only makes the traffic situation worse. You frequently see American's mess up the zipper merge for construction zones, creating a near stopped spot on interstates.

That sounded like a polite, considerate beep at around 6:45. The front of the bike dipped right after the beep so the driver had seen he was moving forward. No harm in a beep. There was no need to chase him through the village, scaring pedestrians. Did anyone understand the conversation when he caught up with the red car?

Basically, the driver said that he honked so that the biker wouldn’t go out onto the road, to which the biker responded (jokingly a bit exaggerated) “Sure, but you also don’t have to go with 200” There wasn’t any real harm, convo was also tame. Biker was confused why he honked and the driver just wanted to make sure the biker didn’t go out. Scaring the pedestrians, he did slow down and they were almost across anyways. And i’m pretty sure he was going that direction anyways so he didn’t really chase after him per say, but i get your point

the crash at 5:55 is due to the return hole for the brake fluid being blocked. the brake calliper can not release from the front wheel rotor. as soon as the bike got to the soft grassy shoulder front wheel locked up. we all know there is no recovery from front wheel lock up on anything but flat clean asphalt, even then its a difficult move for the most skilled riders. ride safe everyone.

1:47 This exact thing happened to me when I was riding with a passenger, except it was caused by making a turn over tram tracks. The front wheel got hooked on the tracks and slid on its slippery metal surface. The bike almost fell but gyro effect caused it to go back up. It was pretty scary and it would've been so embarrassing.

Shorty levers were more then likely not the issue. Those K Model GSXRs had a recall for front master cylinder. Couldn’t bleed out all the air and the spring would rust up and stick.

Can somebody chime in on what caused Brindle 88 going down so violently. I heard the motor revving but what cause the wobble ? That was one hell of a rough ride planting him face down into the asphalt.

My guess is sudden change in center of gravity when they jumped around to look behind them, unfortunately whilst going over a rough patch of tarmac, this probably unsettled the front wheel causing the wobble, the violent wobble would of caused whisky throttle which all added into the mix and meant no chance of recovery

Brindle_88, Oh my god.....The biker looked behind on an uneven road surface, loosened grip by letting do of the bars with his left and BAM, he had no chance at all - he was so lucky traffic was light

I hope the dude in Brindle's video is okay, but homie turned around & took his hand off the bar. Changed the bikes handling over those bumps. Then his foot slipped off when he tried to correct it. Its like, 40% speed wobble, 60% careless rider.

On to adventures… it doesn’t matter if it’s a chick! “A chick” if she is as horrible a person as that one, can kill you as easily as a man! Call the cops and let them know she is driving dangerously and trying to make people wreck. She could be on drugs, you never know till she is stopped!

it says the biker was "distracted by pedestrians". makes me think he was looking at the people crossing the street and completely mentally checked out about what's in front of him. it shouldn't happen, but it does. that said, the moment he notices the car he should have been able to maneuver around it on the right side.. at least here where I am from we literally have to demonstrate this skill as part of getting your license, and you have to do another full day of training for these things.
