Speeder Kitbash Part 2: First Primer!

I've been waiting for this moment for a long time! After adding some extra details like pilot controls in the cockpit, it's time to start painting. A layer of matte black serves as a base, and then a mix of red oxide and grey primer gives this Star Wars-inspired kitbash a dusty, used look.
Next...I'll probably add some weathering and additional detail.

Looking great so far it will be nice to see the finished Speeder ... l would've personally kept the blue and weathered it. Just my opinion 😉

This design is so sleek. When I saw it get a coat of brown my heart sank. I have faith in the final product. I just looks like something you'd order out of a jettsons magazine. Clean and new.

I jut wander , if it's possible to find out such a piece in France; it seems a vintage to me and think , it's quite impossioble to get on second hand market or maybe make new ones ? Embarrassingly, I have not finished it! I wasn't happy with the plan, so I put it aside for over a year. I hope to get some final color on it some time soon, and then post some video :)

Thank you for your concern, lol. I'm alive, and learning Blender instead of making videos. But sooner or later I'll get back to it! That poor speeder is still sitting around, waiting for some paint and detailing.
