Spektrum DXs Transmitter modes explained please subscribe @Tallguysrc and turn on notifications if you need help with your spektrum transmitter www.spektrumrc.com
I am a total noob and you video saved me a lot of frustration. I got a turbo timber evolution and the landing flaps didn't work with the DXS. Your tip on updating the firmware saved me a lot of time. But they were reversed from the flight sim model. Finally got it squared away and first crash is tomorrow. Thank You!
The top left switch actually has three functions, safe intermediate and advanced. With the stick in the intermediate middle mode, hold the ailerons left stick while you roll the airplane to the left and the ailerons will go back to neutral once you roll more than 90° the left. Same with right aleron and elevator. At least that's the way it works with the aeroscout, I'm assuming it would/might do the same with some of these other planes.
Best video yet to help me make a decision for a remote for the Draco Micro. One thing.. I wish you covered the trim. In another video I learned that when you drop the flaps, the nose balloons. Is there no trim on this transmitter, and is the change in trim manageable for newbies?
If I'm seeing this correctly You just got full control of a Turbo Timber Evolution on a Spektrum DXs..?? I've been searching for 2 days to see if this was possible. You were the first to show it is. The few who have tried this ended up with some Crazy BS on the Flaps control! I'm at least willing to Try this now. I've now tried this on the TTE and the Flaps do work but there is No elevator adjustment added and the plane will NOT fly straight and level. The DXs will cause many crashes due to this. Bad Proprietary crap again..
Thank you for the excellent explanation. I'm waiting for the cable to update mine. How about retractable wheels, how can we assign a switch in mode 2? Thank you again
I see your conscendo sitting back there, will the DXS work with the conscendo? I’ve heard safe and flapperons will not work at the same time, it’s either or.
