When I hold the trims outboard and turn on the DXs (same radio your showing) I get orange lights ..It flys right by the blue programming mode..any thoughts?
Thank you for the video, I also have a DXe that I bought the Bluetooth adapter for. Will we be able to use the mobile app to adjust our configuration with that adapter in the future?
Couldn't get the "D" switch to work with AR620 receiver (tried all the channels on the receiver). Unfortunately the transmitter cannot be programmed with the Spektrum programmer. "D" switch only works with the AR8010 receiver on the AUX2 channel (AUX1 channel does not work either).
My DXS is in a state where the left stick seems to only receive input if the throttle stick is pushed all the way forward (no lower setting than max throttle is really possible) and the rudder only detects rightward input. In other words, the whole gimbal only seems to respond to inputs that push the stick up and to the right (the upper right quadrant). I have tried resetting to factory defaults and playing with the trims, to no avail. It almost seems like an issue with the hardware itself. Can anyone provide some insight. Is it possible to calibrate the sticks?
@@old-rcplane-phart That stinks, so I will probably have to scrap the transmitter eh? taking the risk with an open-box transmitter deal at the local online retailer did not pay off. Here is my other problem-- I have a Jumper T-Lite that could do the trick for my park fliers, but I am having a devil of a time getting that to bind to anything. The DSM protocol is all set up the way RU-vid told me to do it, but to no avail. I have also tried to bind to Taranis/D16 products to no avail. I feel like I am missing something but documentation for the T-lite is scant. Any ideas?
My radio is recognized by the software, but only the “update” tab is clickable. I updated the radio, and still no other tabs are clickable. Any ideas what I need to do to actually program this for my gear and flaps?
@@SpektrumRCvideos seriously? The dxe is discontinued and this is what retailers and your salesmen are recommending. What is the time table for this radio to be supported? Horizon hobby needs to wake up a little. I
@@andresmirt Hard to give you a solid date at this time, but that functionality is being worked on my our team at this time. Stay tuned to our channel, once we have a updated programmer we'll post and create a how to guide. Thanks!
My flaps used to work fine on my DXS ( D channel ) on my Turbo Timber 1.5 for months but now the flaps operate using the bind only and can’t find any info on what happened 🤬
At this time no... We have a update coming soon that will allow users to change to different switch presets and it will work well with warbirds with flaps and retracts after that.
Spend another $100 & get the DX6e. It's the most inexpensive tx available from spektrum. (I use the NX8, myself. Great transmitter, but way expensive! 😳)
I’m trying to bind the DXS transmitter to the UMX turbo timber and the flaps are stuck in the down position unless I press the panic button how do I fix this?
Reversing Ch6/Aux 1 will fix it being stuck in that position. check page 8 of the manual www.horizonhobby.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-horizon-master/default/dwc1ed33db/Manuals/SPM1010-Manual-EN.pdf
@@SpektrumRCvideos I tried that and whilst the flaps are in neutral they can only be controlled by the panic button instead of the D switch on my remote it’s flyable but I still need some help
@@CrocaDucks Unfortunately at this time it is not programmable in that regard. It is in the works but it will require a new PC and Smart Phone programming interface. Stay tuned to our social channels for news and updates.
