When it comes to the NX8, you are the only person that makes it easy. Could you please do a video on setting up differential thrust. This is a feature I can't get to work and would be very handy. Thanks!

All NX models will have the BNF templates.Recent update removed the names and have the model listings only. So thats why you wont see them currently. Thank you for watching and positive feedback!
Just wondering what part of Tennesse are from? I lived in Nashville for a little over a year back in 1989, then moved to Cookeville for about three years. Oh yes, liking the videos. Just got the NX10 recently due to the Spektrum trade-up program. Soon to be getting the Blade 230 V2 or the Blade 330. As at this moment I am flying in Realflight 9.0
When setting the NX-8 for a specific plane do you have to select that plane from your list or can you just do the set up for a general setting when assigning the switches? Your tutorials don't specifically say when setting up the TX.

Hey BD! Can you leave the battery for this transmitter fully charged? How does it work to store the transmitter for a few weeks of no use? Can't seem to find anyone who is addressing this question. Thanks man.
I have stored mine on lower voltage and full charge without issues. Radio can be used until drains down to like 3.8 and left there if you dont want sitting at full charge.
I'm very new to these programable controllers, this video helps a lot. But I do have a question. My AC manual says to set the Dual Rates for the different control surfaces to a certain mm. Example, Aileron Up 16mm Down 16 mm, Elevator Up 14 mm Down 14 mm. But when I go into the controller dual rate set up its in percentage. Is there a conversion or something that i'm missing? Thanks!
Hi, I'm trying to setup my NX-8 Tx for use with a V-Tail 2m glider. No ailerons, only 2 servos controlling pitch and yaw (ruddervators?). Hard to find step by step instructions online for V-tail control using a Spektrum transmitter. I've fiddled and finally have the tail surfaces moving correctly BUT pitch/elevator is on the Right stick, while yaw/rudder is on the Left stick. I need them both on the right stick. Feel like I'm close but missing something? I'm using a sailplane model type, v-tail, with servos plugged in to Elevator and Rudder ports. If I move from Rudder port to Aileron port on the receiver, then it doesn't work. So, question is how to get pitch/yaw of a vtail setup on same (right) stick on a Spektrum NX-8. If you can help or point me to a resource you'll be a hero ;-) Thanks much..... jerry
I'm using the NX8 with RF 9.5. I used to have beginner, intermediate and experienced while flying the Apprentice 1.5, but now I only have beginner and experienced. Any idea what happened?
just bought nx6 and some how my elevator and throttle are switched . when i turn on the radio it says throttle high and i have to pull down on elevator . any help would be appreciated.
HI, can you please tell me how to use the model name because on my NX6 radio the system is totally different to yours, all the letters are in boxes which I can not get out of and I have got to a point of frustrated that I feel like putting the radio in the bin. Eddie
If you have the dark colors,its the "Legacy" pallette. Recent update causes the letters not to show up highlighted. System settings > Pallette Settings > Change to Spektrum Template
Looking for suggestions about Frame Rate. The NX8 has a hybrid setting, but no apparent way to select 22ms vs 11ms for the individual servos. Would appreciate any help. Thank you!!
@@BDTennessee Thank you for your continued interest and support. Selecting Hybrid shows several servos at 22ms and others at 11ms, but across several planes the "selection" is always identical. There seems to be no way to alter the selection based on the actual servos installed.
Hi bd,just ordered the nx 10 radio and after looking at all the reviews I’m wondering if it is still worth buying one or have all the issues with the radio been addressed
Its still in the early stages of updates.However i havent had any issue with my radio and others i help with at my local field. Only 2 current issues to note. You need to download and install update 3.05 before installing update 3.06 Secondly, the BNF templates arent configured correctly and the names are missing. I would proceed and get NX10!

Do yo know how to change that pic on the main menu of the plane you want once its all set up. Im looking for a picture of a twin engine plane to put for my twin otter. do you know how to change that picture?
System Setup > Aircraft Type > Next to Aircraft Options > Scroll down past Throttle type One more time and it will highlight the picture. Press enter with scroll wheel and you can scroll to change picture.
BD, new to Rc, got the NX6 with 6610 receiver. Do I understand correctly that the rx battery voltage is monitored and displayed on the main screen? Is the voltage in the upper right the TX voltage? Thanks
BD I have set the wi fi up on my radio I went to do a system update it came up with the thumb twiddling and stayed there for over 15 at about 25 minutes I backed it out and went to register the radio same thing it says it’s connected to my wi fi but it just says thumb twiddling and loading but nothing happens. Any idea
@@BDTennessee yes I have . I think I figured it out I think I waited to long and did not log out then log back on in the spectrum page will try it again ,I get home from work. Let you know if that was cure.
@@BDTennessee I got it . I had one of the letters in my spectrum login a capital letter when it needed to be lower case, you would think it would have come up log in failed but it did not it just said thumb twiddling and set that way for ever more. Thanks for your help.
Hi, I just bought 2 NX6 for sport flying. I need to register them which requires the serial numbers. I followed the directions and it does not work. After pressing Next twice it takes me to other screens. Please help!
