Hi there my name is Carl I have not heard from in a year it’s so nice to hear what you have to say about RC industry you are so cool I learned so much from you You share a Lotta nice tips there good to see you back again
I'm a subscriber to your channel, you've helped me more than I can say.I have s spectrum power safe in my hangar 9 p-47 and it is great,I plan on getting some for my other planes.
Great review, I’ve never seen these before but will definitely be checking into the after this, very impressive and being a spectrum user, seems like a little more insurance in our planes and jets, thanks for sharin. 👊🏼👊🏼
The range test will tell you how many fades occur on each respective satellite: B, L & R. So, if you use them according to the labeling, it will be easier to know if re-positioning is possible to get better reception on that satellite. I've got two. Use them in my 3D printed planes. (hours of build time) F4U Corsair and F86 Sabre by 3DLabprint.com. A little added insurance makes the maiden less stressful!
A very important question: My AR12310T receiver binds with DX9 or ix12 transmitter with green lights on receiver but servos will not be active. Meaning forward programing does not appear on transmitter screen. I have tried turning on receiver, turning off transmitter then turning on transmitter and then receiver...that has worked one time with servos moving, active. Now, nothing works. I have check both for updates and are running the current software. I did sent the AR12310T back to your customer service and they found nothing wrong. Again, I have the receiver bound and still nothing happens...servos are not active.
I am not Spektrum, I am flyingrc.net. You really need to work with Spektrum on this. I don;t know of anything that would cause that but they know way more than me on this stuff. I have had several issues go away by binding the system again. I have no clue why that worked then but it did.
This receiver provides solid battery redundancy on its own. I don;t use anything else with it other than the TechAero ignition BEC that gives me remote engine kill capability,
Cool video, but why I need 2 lipo batteries to power the 12 channel receiver? Can I just use one lipo battery? To power my surface vehicle! Your professional feedback is always appreciated. 👌
The whole idea of the powersafe receivers is redundant batteries so if one fails your plane doesn't go splat! The receiver keeps the packs separate so one can fail and not impact the other.
I ordered a 12 channel PowerSafe Receiver in July. It was backordered to August, then that became September and now it’s been yet again revised to ship late October. All I’m getting from Horizon is, “sorry no information”. Does anyone know what’s going on with availability of these receivers?
There is nothing for a manufacturer to gain by limiting availability of a very popular product. I suspect they simply sold more receivers than expected. Playing catch up with manufacturing can take a while.
thintz12 hopefully Spektrum won’t push the ship date further back. I’m a 100% Spektrum shop, so like many, I’m in a corner. Glad you like the PowerSafe rx’s. Mine is going into my first turbine powered airplane.
Yes, that is the 3D Hobby Shop Edge and I am looking forward to getting that one in the air. I got backed up with some other content work but will get it all done eventually. I might get out and fly a little also!
@@flyingrcdotnet I hope you get to go and have some fun soon. I'm looking forward to a video of you flying this plane. Keep up the good work. Love your channel
