It was ordered/backordered in march. Arrived a few weeks ago for me. WE forgot about it. EVERY week i stop by, the owner gets it out of the show case, i play with it for 5 minutes & put it back up. Told him yesterday, its my Christmas gift to me! 😁
I have the AR10100t and I do not have the sat recievee. Do I have to use one. The ones I have laying around do nit fit this reciever. That all have the 3 wire setup instead of the 4 wire..thanks.
Unfortunately this didnt help me. I bought the AR10100T for the new F14 64mm from Freewing. I followed the Channel Assignment, Port Assignment on my iX14 and tried to bind multiple times. I get all the lights flashing and the bind light stops flashing but the other lights continue flashing as if its still searching for all the control surfaces and every servo. I tested with the AR8020T which binds but is only 8 channels, not enough channels and was in a crashed edf. I went back to the AR10100T and the same thing, just flashing and continued beeping. I wish I could find help bit this is literatally the only video that even mentions a AR10100T but you didn't use it or plug into an airplane.
@@gelonious1 you have the leads plugged in upside down. Spektrum 10 channels, signal to bottom and negative to top (label side). Only 10 channels in current lineup are this way currently...
@BDTennessee I have watched your videos and you have helped my son and I get into this hobby and spend time together. Your knowledge and teaching ability is so reassuring. I just wanted to add that I was having the same issue when setting up the 10360t and only throttle and the BEC was working. None of the surfaces moved and I saw this and you are right the signal is at the bottom on the receiver. I guess the throttle and BEC were in wrong but it would still work, but it caused me to have to re bind the receiver everytime so I thought I had 2 issues. That solution you gave fixed both issues. Thank you for your willingness and ability to help people all around the world!!
Need some help. Every time that I go into the flight mode were I have Safe and Auto Level turned on, it keeps cutting my Dual Rates like in half. Do you have any idea on how to eliminate this John
Man I need some help. I bought the AR10360T for a big EF Gamebird 85. After setting everything up and getting my control surfaces right and trims. I went on to activate AS3X and Safe. I've done this on smaller foam planes multiple times with no issues at all This time the configuration of the receiver shows to be wrong. It corrects the plane correctly when safe is activated but AS3X doesn't work. If I change the position of the receiver to the correct orientation, it corrects everything to the opposite direction. All of my control surfaces are moving in the right direction so I'm stumped!! Any help would be appreciated. Great videos! Thanks
Did you try to the auto orientation feature? RX doesnt work correctly id set it manually. Lastly if you change things after setup you need to click on "relearn servo settings"
@@BDTennessee I got it finally. The orient didn't look right at all since the antennas were pointing the opposite direction. Maybe it was suppose to be the wires coming in not the antennas. Anyhow. I put another receiver on it and just hooked up the power, ran quickly through the AS3X setting and it confirmed that is was position 5. So 5 was right and I swore it was position one which the way the lettering and wires led had me sure it was 1 and not 5. The AS3X wasn't working on either position so I powered everything down and left it for a while. Came back the next day, powered everything up pushed the throttle over 25% and boom it has worked every since. Good vids. I see you may live in Tennessee, come to McMinn sometime and fly with us! Great club! Thanks again!
Good Video unitl it drops dead in mid stream with no further info or follow-up/continuation vidieos. Drops dead with Flight Mode selecting safe, no futher info on setting up SAFE (ie Envelope, Self Level/Anfgle Demand, and various settings) nor on the setup of the other flight modes.
There is no video on how to do a full house setup on a powered 8-channel glider. With four separate channels for the wing two for the tail and one channel for this throttle. Crow breaking and all that fancy stuff camber etc etc
@@BDTennessee I tried to do it with the sailplane program I could not get the flaps to work. I'm trying to figure out how to do it with airplane mode. You would think it'd be easier to do it with the cell plane settings cuz that's what cell plans do crow breaking camber all that stuff. Horizons still needs to work on this IX12 before they come out with a new one, 😆
@@jamesturncliff5960 need to go into aircraft type. Assign type of servo setup. Needs to have "1 Flap" part of wing type. Then you will get a option in function list to setup "Flap System"
@@BDTennessee I got that part but you can't do it on a sailplane. You have to do it in aircraft and then select two irons and two flaps. What I'm trying to figure out is the crow breaking the camber for thermals for speed for normal flight stuff like that
