[Edit: I didn't notice how quiet my other videos were until I got new audio equipment, it shouldn't be a problem moving forward]
Hi! This was a bit of an experiment. You can watch movies with us, press play at the same time for the full experience. Bear in mind, this was the extended cut of the Iron Giant. If you're not watching the extended cut, you'll have to pause a couple of times. One is an extra scene between Dean and the mother at the diner, the other is a dream sequence at the junkyard. Sorry for the inconvenience!
(You can always find the movie online, but you didn't hear that from me...)
We've got a bunch of stuff to watch, but feel free to suggest movies in the comments.
This is my first step into media content with Geoninji, but there's more to come. I also do D&D videos if that strikes your interest.

Came to check this after your great fox and the hound video. Just to mention, your friend's avatar is the classic sprite for the Black Mage from the final fantasy series.

Yeah so I looked it up, the extended cut has an extra diner scene at 15:51 (movie timestamp, not video), and it lasts for 30 seconds. The next scene isn't until 54:38, and it lasts for 1 minute and 23 seconds. Completely forgot this movie had two versions. That'll be something to remember with future watch parties :/

Id say classic animation itsharder on a technical level. But with how expensive cgi has gotten and how many edits and reshoots and redone cgi sequences there are id say it might be "easier" and cheaper to do classic animation.

the only thing i can think about when seeing the black mage 8-bit sprite, is 8-bit theatre, best webcomic i've ever read, absolutely hilarious, and they mainly use final fantasy sprites for the characters, black mage, in that comic, is pretty much the embodiment of evil, teamed up with the most braindead fighter ever, but who's incredibly loyal and won't admit that BM is evil, just has some quirks.

I love this idea very much, MST3K / Rifftrax did the same thing, and I love to see other people do it, too. Allows you to be able to freely enjoy the movie and your commentary at the same time. Clever, smart, and gets you good view counts / minutes. I'd love to see you guys watch something bizarre but amazing like ' Tekkonkinkreet '. Not Disney, not kid like either, but a movie I know you guys would love very much, check it out! It's up there with ' It's Such A Beautiful Day ' by Don Hertzfeldt. Just came across your channel, too, love what I see and hear so far. Fox and the Hound video was well written.
