This is the kind of fight you show somebody who’s getting into the sweet science for the first time. One of the greatest individual performance of all time
Not really! Crawford's true level was exposed against Madrimov, a novice who isn't that good a boxer but at least wasn't hampered in anyway (coming off devastating losses previously like Brook and Khan, or coming off a life threatening car accident like Spence Jr here). This fight proves how appalling (due to injuries but also due to never being great himself) SPence Jr was rather than anything about sweet science from Crawford. Crawford's sweet science was utterly exposed when he missed a career high number of punches with an embarrassing level of accuracy and timing against Madrimov and then also got hit with a high career high percentage of punches by Madrimov himself, a mere 12 fight novice who has never shown anything great in his boxing career. Crawford wouldn't stand a chance against Canelo that is not hampered or Golovkin.
@@remitto8367agree Errol’s eyes if u watch the fight just watch his eyes respect to bud 💯🔥 Errol a true dog regardless the outcome would love to see it one more time 154 if Errol beats fundora both fighters no ring rust 🔥🔥
I can see what you mean by that. But if you want to see another great performance to compare to this and see what performance was better. Than go watch Mayweather vs Gatti. My favorite all time performance.
Not even close though. Mayweather himself said Gatto was a C level fighter right? Spence is certainly A+. Everyone thought it was gonna be close. But in reality Crawford is like A++++
@@ceasemiller8136 I like that fight, but Mayweather v Canelo, and Mayweather v Corrales were probably better than the Gatti fight, all things considered.
Crawford was overprepared. He wasn't just fighting Spence...he was fighting all the doubters haters and negativity he's faced he's entire life. Spence just wasn't prepared for that
@@chiefmwase4562 He was a 24/7 boxer he studied everything he could to have this almost perfect performance. its Spence fault entirely he didn't took boxing seriously as he should have he went partying and got into a car accident while Crawford just boxing 24/7
@@thaimperial97 almost every comment praising Crawford. The top comment is a Errol Spence fan giving props to Crawford saying how hard it is to watch the fight but you still want to watch it cause of the master class performance. Then here you are, pregnant as hell, mad 😂 grown ahh man 🫃🏾🫃🏾🫃🏾 lmao
Crawford putting Spence down for the 3rd time and then pointing at Charlo, saying "you next" during the count, was one of the most iconic boxing moments of the decade. Some dudes have never laced a glove on who call Crawford a fraud and a bum. Wild 🤣 Bud is the man; I was blown away watching this live. Incredible fighter.
One of the single greatest boxing performances in history. It was a total domination of a fighter who’d never even been knocked down before let alone beaten. When you look at everything going into this fight, the records, the knockouts, what was at stake, to see how incredible Bud performed was simply astonishing. An absolute master classic
I'm 63, seen many fights- watched Ali back in 1966 (my great nephew, who was boxing in our home aged 3, Olympic youth champ, unbeaten as pro): right, this was incredible. Credit to Spence for heart.
Looking back on it, Spence actually fought better than I thought, It's just Crawford's IQ was on another level. You can tell he and his team really studied Errol and prepared for this fight. Particularly taking away Spence's jab which is one the best in boxing. Once he was able to do that, it wasn't much EJ could do to turn the tide of this fight. Respect to both men for making this happen. True warriors indeed.
Spence was triying really hard even when he was totally destroyed. Heart of a warrior for sure. Is just that every time he wanted to do something he meet a jab or a powerful counter
Spence was hurt from the 2nd round. That’s why he wasn’t as good as usual. This isn’t rocket science. The Bud fans just wanna make up a narrative that Errol just not good enough to beat anyone.
@@DoctorEduardo Errol was never a hype job. Why do y’all lie all the time and talk evil about people? Y’all defend bad behavior and attack the people with good behavior. It’s silly
I gotta keep it real… It was clear Crawford actually liked Errol. If he wanted to he could’ve done him a lot worse. He obviously held back at times to avoid really hurting him. I’m a Spence fan, but damn this was one of the greatest performances I’ve seen next to Mayweather vs Gatti.
You right that mayweather vs Gatti fight is my favorite fight very underrated fight from mayweather feet work to his power just a master class of boxing
This was better than Mayweather vs Gatti. Simply because Spence was the unified champ on the P4P list. Whereas Gatti at that time was already done. Plus while Mayweather totally outboxed Gatti, Bud not only outboxed Spence but he also knocked him down 3 times
To anyone from the future, welcome This was the beginning of when two kings of the jungle clashed to determine The One...then a series of others came like Fury vs Usyk, Beterbiev vs Bivol and Tank vs Shakur. Sit back and enjoy this brutal art of the sweet science displayed by two greats of this era. May we multiply!!
@@DoctorEduardoRyan Garcia isn't a bum, Hector Luis Garcia isn't a bum, Isaac Cruz isn't a bum, Mario Barrios & Pedraza weren't bums either. Tank isn't fighting absolute cans he's just fighting B level fighters rather than the big names. As for Shakur he's like 25 he has an excuse.
I remember going into the gym last year and being the only one predicting a Terence Crawford win, naturally since we're in the Dallas area they all had Spence whooping Crawford all the waaay, and boy were they wrong. 😬 What a performance!
Anyone going to mention Spence has been a southpaw all his career? Crawford is a switch hitter and beat Errol at his own stance from beginning to end. Crazy.
@@Obiamajoyisrmd Yeah, I believe he should have had some type of advantage. Perhaps being the sharper of the two southpaws. Let's say, Crawford was always a southpaw fighter, you'd imagine he would be equally as efficient, but he's not. He goes back and forth. Coming out as southpaw for the entire fight in a stance he doesn't use 100% of his fights as Spence does would sound like a disadvantage. Obviously it was not, because he's that good.
@@JaceRivera-t2w That's what I meant. It's more surprising that the guy whose fault his entire career left handed was outgunned by a switch hitter in the left hand stance.
Bud practically beat Spence an undefeated almost undisputed champion into retirement. Look how people talk about him as of August 24. He hasn't fought since this fight and everyone has practically written him off because of how much of a trouncing this was. Even those of us who picked Bud to win were shocked with how easily he did it. Epic performance.
@dieselwiesel8893 what excuse? I don't like Spence but I wanted to see a better fight with both fighters in their best condition. It's sad to see Spence that way his punches were sluggish
I never thought it was going to be 50/50... I always asked before the fight "What can Spence do to beat Crawford?" And it looks like he never could in a million years.
God the boxing community is low iq af. I’m not even a Spence fan but it’s blatantly obvious Spence was compromised and clearly drained. Can anyone please explain to me how Spence got spanked worse by Crawford than past it Brook and Khan?
This fight show improved that 95% of the people are just fans of the fighter and not fans of boxing. The crowd had to be at least 80% pro Spence. And these are the same people that are criticizing Crawford's first fight at 154 😂
@@alejandrosifuentes7271won 135 World title vs Ricky Burns - 2 weight world champion, Gamboa - Olympic gold medalist - World champion, Felix Diaz - Olympic Gold medalist, become undisputed at 140, Kell Brook, Amir Khan, Shawn Porter, Kavalaskis, Avanesyan, Errol Spence, undisputed at 147, Madrimov. Any 1 saying he has a bad resume honestly doesn't have a clue or is just hating, not many fighters in boxing rn has a better resume and nobody at all has more accomplishments, Canelo is probably the only fighter with a better resume
This fight went downhill from the beginning of round 3. Errol started looking for the BIG shots after getting dropped the previous round and forgot all about his gameplan. He stopped jabbing and Crawford started picking up on everything. Great performance from Bud, glad we could go back and watch.
Exactly, after the first knock down. Errol was literally on shaky legs the entire rest of the fight. But he still tried to push forward. Errol in survival is what you saw in this fight. His version of survival mode is to keep swinging without any fundamentals. We all know Errol is fundamentally sound more than anything else he does in boxing.
@qbrown8753 He wasn’t on no damn shaky legs. He popped right back up after he got dropped and was comin forward full of energy the entire fight. That was nowhere near a survival mode fight for Spence. He fought exactly how he fought his other fights. Even after he got droppe. Tf were yall watching? Yall just in denial and tryna cope.
Just realized Bud hit Spence flush with a solid jab as soon as the fight started...like 2 seconds into the fight... guess that was a sign of what kind of night it was gonna be lol
it was basically a mental thing. 1) hit first 2) let Errol know hecan't stop a jab and his head movement is trash At that moment had basically goaded Errol to fight going forward which played right into Bud's counterpunching brilliance
Before this fight real boxing fans knew that he was the best but after the spence fight Terence "bud" Crawford closed any room for doubt and he engraved his name in gold in the history of boxing, he proved that he's one of the best to ever do it, and hands down without an argument the best active fighter today pound for pound.
@@maxawilli7 nope Crawford struggles with fast fighters especially Pacquiao is unpredictable if you imagine prime Pac you know he will always surprise you. just compare Bud's performance when he moved up to 154 and see what Pacquiao did at 154
*I had Crawford KOing Spence for yearsss before they fought. It's like every punch he landed hurt Spence, it didn't even seem real. I don't think nobody predicted he would be so dominate. He beat Spence so bad I started feeling sorry for him mid fight.* *Legendary performance.*
Spence fans were so toxic and obnoxious before this fight was made. I like Spence but his fans deserved to watch every second of this after the shit those stupid Texans said for years.
I really didn’t wanna rewatch this fight because I’m a huge Spence fan but I felt like I had to. As much as I am a Spence fan, this was pure domination by bud
*Some highlights:* (NOTE: The entire fight is pretty much one big highlight for Crawford. This is just a few noteworthy moments) 9:02 Start 15:56 What changed everything. First knockdown 16:48 Slow mo of first knockdown 19:42 Completely outclassing Spence with speed and precision 22:17 Amazing speed(That left) 22:30 Brilliant punch 34:49(Second knockdown) 36:48(Third Knockdown) 44:26 The ending
Damn this fight broke my heart as a Spence fan, whatever he took before the fight f**d him up.. Spence is one of the biggest PPV attraction, .. legendary fight
Exactly he definitely looked to high before the fight in the locker room I smoked weed i know what a high person looks like n he was clearly high as shit
I agree that madrimov fight was close and a tough battle but bud took the du he may not have got the dominance or ko or tko but he beat him ud like floyd beat oscar
Two undefeated champions and king of thier same division THE TRUTH vs BUD errol spence jr vs terence crawford for the undisputed welterweight championship
This fight will never be repeated again in history. 5 years of trash talking 50 50 rubbish. 2 undefeated skilled power punchers for undisputed. Some spence fans will never get over this fight.
Crawford won that fight. Most people bashed Spence and said Crawford mauled him but whst really happened was that Crawford outlasted Spence's pressure and managed to impose his will on Spence. That was the real fight, and later on it came to who was the better boxer, which obviously was Crawford. Any other fighter would have lost against that version of Spence that night. Bud was just superior.
Before the fight everybody told Crawford "don't stand in front of him". During the fight Spence was told "don't stand in front of him". Also Crawford's jab was pummeling spence, but still the commentators could not see that it was Crawford who also had the advantage in power. It took six rounds until they started to understad who had the power, despite Crawford knocked Spence down on jab in the second.
For a whole year I read comments like “We need that full Crawford Spence fight, we’re not interested in other fights” under every video when they uploaded full fights. And now I don't see here as many views as I expected.
I wonder what y'all people looking at ....like y'all can't clearly see in front y'all tv screen Spence is smaller than Crawford? ? and he tryna fight with a weak body anyway ??
They were hoping Spence would hurt Crawford badly, break his ribs, eye sockets, end his career, even kill him in there and most of them would be laughing and celebrating till this day.

After watching that madrimov fight, its clear to me this win was better than it actually was. Spence havent been the same for years…. Crawford still a great fighter especially for his first fight at 154
Terrence Crawford is a complete fighter jesus christ! as someone who also loves Spence i was devastated to see him get out classed like this but hey somebody had to lose 👏👏👏 Beautiful fight and Class Act from both men who are two of the best fighters i have ever seen ✊🖤🖤🖤
This video got over 700k views in nine days but no one like watching Crawford right? 🤣🤣Let me guess yar here for Errol Spence Jr. Well okay enjoy this demolition 😭😭
I've watched Bud career from 135 on. Became my favorite fighter the 1st time i saw him fight. I always thought Bud would have stopped Spence but in a highly competitive fight. Did not forsee this 1-sided beat down happening. It was surreal watching it in real time.
This fight is one of the single most masterful performance by a fighter along with Pac/Cotto, Floyd/Gatti, Duran/Leonard 1, Usyk/Gassiev, Pac/Margarito, Ali/Foreman.
I'm a huge fan of both fighters. Glad we finally saw this fight. Crawford's performance is the single greatest beatdown I've seen. Spence was a top 3-4 P4P at the time, to do what Crawford did to him is simply special.
