Hello, All! N. E. Pats fan here. Spencer Rattler! CONGRATULATIONS! This low round pick of Spencer is an insult to him. This is NOT a reflection on the N O Saints. It's a knock on the mystery as to why teams didn't draft him sooner. Rattler was a much higher, valuable consideration....unknown why there was so much hesitation...maybe some old stuff from high school or something. This kid is GOOD! I've followed him for the past 3 years, and I gotta tell ya, he's experienced, confident, talented, a leader, well-based and mature. His cockiness has been refined. Special note that so many teams overlooked: In 2023, the South Carolina Gamecocks had the nearly worst offensive line in the SEC (injuries, mix-and-match, lack of cohesiveness), thus compromising Spencer's performance and stats. Had South Carolina's offensive line been equal to North Carolina's offensive line in the game where they played each other, South Carolina would have WON that game (against Drake Maye, no less). Congrats to the Saints and you Saints fans. You are in for a TREAT!!!! Congratulations to all and to Spencer!!

Im a mississippi state fan I became a huge spencer fan after we played SC this last year.. Happy he got picked and now he gets to show all the doubters that he is the best QB in the 2024 draft and they all got it wrong…I’ll definitely be watching the saints when he starts..

Excited to have this dude, really developed and matured over the last 2 years.If he sits behind Carr for a year or two and takes over he could be really good.

From an untrained eye, I would like to see a little bit more throwing with anticipation, specifically throwing before the receiver comes open because in the NFL, receivers are open by inches not by yards and being late on a comeback route can result in a pick 6 very quickly. But if he can make these plays at the next level, he'll have a long career! Kind of makes me wish we still had Sean Payton to coach him lol
