Your island turned out so nice! Marion is so good at his craft and I think the white looks so good and crisp with the way you’ve used color throughout the room. It is a dream kitchen and all the knickknacks are arranged so perfectly! It was good to see Paisley’s sweet face and all the new things she is doing. Seeing Patrick again was nice. I’m sorry he had a bad time with his car but am so glad he’s ok. Thank you for sharing such a long video! ❤️

I really like the newly refurbished island. It gives you more surface space for food prep and Painting it white makes the kitchen look much more cohesive. Kudos to Marion for a job well done.❤

Love the island color top and the shelf on the bottom looks awesome it really turned out great tell Marion he did a great job. Also those glass jars green ones look really nice on the shelf. For the empty jars up on the shelf you should try filling one with the multicolor rotini pasta and the other one with a plain color pasta and see how that looks. Overall the island and the kitchen looks WONDERFUL!

I think a wide towel holder with S hooks to hold pots or towels would enhance the look of your island. And two bar stools would look exciting.

The island is beautiful I think the white with the wood top was a perfect choice. Maybe try putting some casters on the bottom to help you roll it around when you’re trying to clean. Thanks for sharing. Have a good rest of your weekend.

I loved every minute of this week long video. Marion reminds me of my dad. He was a carpenter and made beautiful things just as Marion has done for you. You mentioned adding the X On each side but what about adding bead board to match your walls (backsplash) to tie it in just like you used the window board for the island. Just a thought. I loved the long video bill as for theailyn I think it looks perfect and the white just blends in the wood makes you look warm and it might look too Heavy or busy with the axe and it would take away from your little items on the bottom self meaning it may look too busy❤

You should put castors on the bottom they have brakes and then you don't have to worry about the weight. They have wheels that will match your decor aesthetic could be really neat.

Arika I absolutely love the island. And the color white and the hooks just was the icing on the cake!! I love it. That Paisley is just gorgeous! Time goes by so fast. I can’t believe she is crawling and beginning to pull up. That baby will be a fighter. She has overcome so much. Arika I love these long videos. I honestly would probably sit and watch if they were three hours long, and get nothing done myself. I love it when you have a new one up. I loved your new riser. Marion is so talented. Loved this video. The island remake turned out GORGEOUS. You have said you’re not sure about the shelves on the walls. Could it be the brackets that are the problem? Jackson is going to save himself a lot of money learning how to do things from his dad. Did Marion build the chair he was sitting on in the basement while sanding? Hallelujah! I have always wanted to paint that kitchen island white to open up floor space. I feel like the Xs will just close it back in. Open looks cleaner. Not fan of nic nacs on bottom shelf. That's just ME tho. Wicker basket to store towels or something. I like to be able to speed clean w/o moving things. Again... it's just my preference. Island looks so good! Y'all did a great job. 👍

What a great island Marion made for you. He is amazing. I do have one suggestion you might try. The two jars on the shelf next you your sink that are gorgeous but empty, you could put thin mints or other candies that would match the seasons like your mint green touches or red and white M&Ms for Valentines day. Just a thought.
