The fact that you have this on your phone means a lot to me personally. My uncle was in this group and for the longest time I didn't think anyone cared about them, but I'm so glad you do :)
"Have no fear" was one of R Kelly's favorite lines in his lyrics. Even if the music wasn't obvious, you could tell his hands was in this from that line alone 😄😄😄
There will never be music production like this again. This was the kind of song that set the mood for the whole weekend. Getting dress, hitting the club up and finding that gorgeous girl then getting that real slow dancing on. Nothing will ever compare to the 90s.
I remember meeting these guys at Southern University...they were promoting this single...they were very nice...this song bring back so many memories! I miss the 90's R&B
First heard this song on my back to Fort Hood,TX BACK IN '94 (418TH TRANS CO) I WAS COMING THRU FORT WORTH ROUND 1 IN THE MORNING HALF SLEEP AND WOKE ALL THE WAY UP WHEN I HEARD THIS SONG
Love this joint. R. Kelly definitely did it justice on the production side, but these guys were definitely on point with the harmonies. Unfortunately they came out amidst the wave of similar male groups in the 90s where some of them got lost in the shuffle.
I honestly didn’t remember this song from my strong R&B roots. But I saw it on a Video Soul throwback video and fell in love. The vocal blend is so smooth. 🥰
I was in the Air Force back when this hit in 94. I remember banging this in the dorm when I had company. A perfectly produced piece of work which embodied R. Kelly's style of production back then. Brings back so many fond memories of when I used to drive state to state banging this jawnt. Took me a while to remember the group's name but this is R&B perfection. A nice song to sing and make love to. It sucks to see one of the greatest R&B singers and producers of all time go thru the shit he's currently going thru 25 yrs later. Anyway. Thanks guys. You aren't forgotten homeys
This song was my jam in 1994 (had this on cassette, yes cassette😆) ...a lot of people liked this song and it was on constant rotation on Midnight Love on BET (back when it was worth watching)..those brothas are very talented...
I remember this song just like yesterday. I remember buying the cassette single in Wal-Mart. I still have it! That is the only thing that I have with this song on it.
I bet u if this jam came out 2day,it would be a hit.Its an example of just how nice this is,sounds just as great 2day as it did whaen we 1st heard it. The 90s had everything we needed :)
I came across this song this evening and I haven’t heard it since I was in school in 1994. I used to love this song and played it over and over again. It’s funny because I was looking around when the music started playing and I was like, I know this. The guys started singing and my memory just kicked in and I was quickly remembering the words! Oh, I’m so happy I found this song again💗💗💗
This song just randomly popped in my head. I said the words to the song in my Google search mix then this video appeared. I haven't heard this since the 90's if I'm remembering correctly. I was 15-16... Now I'm missing my first love, Timothy Parker Jr. #RIP 😘💕💕💕🥰
I STILL BUMP THIS JOINT ON THE IPOD! ONCE AGAIN REAL RNB THE 90s WAS THE GOLDEN ERA...DID YALL KNOW R KELLY PRODUCED THIS? ALONG WITH TONI BRAXTON "HOW MANY WAYS RMX, JANET JACKSON'S "ANYTIME" RMX AND BOYZ II MEN "I'LL MAKE LOVE TO YOU" RMX?!..SAY ALL OF THIS TO SAY, GOLDEN ERA AND MANY MEMORIES GOOD ONES!
The 90s were a whole vibe. I had a body dress similar to the one the girl in this video is wearing and you couldn’t tell me ish lol... I miss the 90s ❤️
