Hi Holly, I never comment on your channel I am more of a sit back and watch. But I have to tell you this!! I am 41 and big on my running I always look forward to your videos because you keep it so real and not for attention. Keep up the good work you are confounding 😘

La Roche posay skincare is amazing and doesn’t clog your pores but is great for sensitive skin. I also find that giving my face a quick wipe with micellar water after exercise if I’ve got a journey home helps so that sweat isn’t sitting on my skin x

Enjoyed watching this Holly! sometimes you just fancy running a cheeky 21km run like a cheeky nandos haha. i used to crack out half marathons at 7am before work and then it just sets me up for the whole work day where im sitting on the laptop. i run for no other reason than it makes me happy :)

Holly, you are speaking my literal thoughts about my running ❤ I have fell off the wagon with my running recently and it has been so tough on my mental state - I feel that imposter syndrome so heavily because of my career position right now and I really have to get back to where I was before because that meditation really makes a HUGE difference ❤

Thank you for being vulnerable in this video! You're definitely not alone- I beat myself for getting in my head/feelings too. The book Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff really really helped me get better with this, would highly recommend

I found using a gel based moisturiser with a hydrating toner layered underneath works wonders. Thicker heavy creams clog my skin badly too. Korean skincare is soooo good, deffo look into it! They have so many amazing gel based moisturisers suitable for breakout prone skin. Korean skincare completely changed my skin

Doing a half marathon in Feb in Bath! I completely relate to the imposter syndrome as I feel the same about my job. I cannot fathom how I got here and I feel like I dont deserve it. I have been running a while now but lost motivation due to lack of goals! So excited to use SGS to do my half marathon ❤

I know this isn’t necessarily helpful but no matter what SPF I use, I break out (I’ve tried SO MANY, even the nicest, derm recommended ones). So, I don’t use it unless I’m in direct extended sun…. Also, try not to touch your face - this was a game changer for me! xo

Just thought I’d throw this out there, but I started taking Spirnolactone for my acne and it cleared up my acne that was a lot like yours. It might be worth looking in to!❤

I usually have a low day followed by a high day so I set my expectations for what I accomplish really low on my crappy emotion days and try and get my long walk in, make sure I eat some chicken and make sure I've had a shower and I almost always feel better after doing those three things. Blessings.

For me the ultimate game changer was to workout/run without any makeup, I only wear SPF I learned a lot about skin care from Hyram's RU-vid channel, I highly recommend it to anyone who has any kind of struggle with their skin Thank you for sharing your struggles with us ❤️

Hi Holly, I have been following you on Tiktok for a long time and this is the first video I watched of yours. Just realized we are the same age (might have similar birthdays even) and we run for the same reason. I always used to think that "running was not for me" and this year I tried to push myself and take that arbitrary boundary off of me. I ran a 10k on November and I'm planning on doing 2 half marathons in 2024 :)

I’ve just looked at my plan on Runna, and I’m scheduled to run 32km on my birthday, but I might swap weeks around and run 25km to mark turning 25. I love how clearly you can think when you’re on the move and you’re outdoors. I wonder if needing to prove yourself is probably, unfortunately part of being a woman. I’m so excited about going to Salford for the university open day in January, I bloody love Manchester. ‘All emotions are in motion’, ‘All feelings are valid’ Loved the Hagrid moment.

Hi Holly! Thank you for showing us some of your vulnerabilities, as so many times I see your posts and think how you are the most positive and motivated person. It is reassuring to see that I am not the only one that deals with the occasional doldrums and face break outs. I agree that it is hard to be pointed in a direction at the end of the year. Passing along something I do that seems to help me is that I try smaller challenges in December like new recipes, looking for fresher running routes, and I am currently trying to read one inspiring book a month. You are a beautiful person inside and out and thank you for sharing your journey. Also, self tanner broke my face out too, thank God for good bronzers!

I want to go on a run so bad but I can't for a little while since I got a breast augmentation surgery 2 weeks ago (I've watched each of your videos on the subject at least 4 times). I can't wait to slowly get myself into marathon training after my recovery period. You're such an inso Holly 🤩🤩

I understand the feeling of “having the world on your shoulders”. Since I started my PhD I am constantly overwhelmed and the imposter syndrome in my constant companion 😅 but I have found that whenever I feel like that what helps me the most is going out breath in some fresh air and go for a run.😊 love you videos ❤

I TOTALLY AND UTTERLY HEAR YOU !! I feel exactly the same i finished my events early November and Iv been feeling abit meh for the last month or so, as like you say your done with ur training so u feel like there’s nothing to aim for but u ‘cant’ start anything as there’s isn’t really anything in the diary race wise until next year !! And half of you wants to enjoy the down time but at the same time you want to get into the next training block so you feel you have some kind of purpose !! 🤦‍♀️

Loved this video, but about your skin I just saw so much no-no in this video. First of all you need to do a hormonal testing and allergy testing to find out what causes it. Dermatologist put acid on your skin to chemically peel it, and you shall not go in the sun (even the slightest) or it will leave brown spots and also no excess sweating for 3-4 days or until peeling, because it irritates your skin which is delicate at the moment. I was battling with acne more times in my life and it's hard, but there are ways out of it. Now I learned through the years what works and what not, and helping my clients as a health coach and nutritionist. If you need any help contact me, I really just want to help.
