honestly looking back at this Tyler is very wholesome and respectful it feels like in this video, at least during the tour, made me smile and feel warm inside a bit
“i found her body... but thats a different story” “she was sleeping, but forever yknow?” i think i love igor or whatever his name is. love at first sight
Some say Igor still wanders around Chernobyl to this day. His body has become immune to the radioactivity, Igor is a legend to the Chernobyl people he is a man of 100 story’s.
Its become one of my goals in life to take this tour with Igor as my guide. I want to share with him a few glasses of nice vodka and listen to the stories he has to tell. Edit: Of course after the tour, don't want him to get in trouble for driving drunk. I don't think he would decline a few drinks after right.
"i came with a group of 5 to say hello, how are you but she wasn't talking, she was sleeping but forever you know" igor A MENACE AND A SAVAGE FOR REAL.
I can imagine Igor walking in to reactor number 4 while its exploding and just going "ay comrades whats wrong? Weathers nice" as he takes a sip of vodka. (Also at 6:54 its really sad that you shouldn't pet those dogs because the radiation sticks to their fur. That seemed like such a good dog)
I’ve learned so much about Chernobyl on the Internet and honestly I remember the Internet saying that the cause of the radiation was because of a nuclear explosion that lead a lot of people to evacuate fast
I started watching with the Whitaker videos. Now Im slowely watching all of your content. All I can say Sir is what have you Not done?? Im amazed. God Bless and keep up the adventures and the questions. I love it. ❤❤
Kinda crazy to imagine what this city was like before all of this happened. It looked like such a beautiful city. Sad to see it in such disarray, but thank you Tyler for allowing us to see it.
4:20 we have this kind of food also in the Netherlands it’s called a ‘oliebol’ and you put dough in a frying pan and most of the times you throw some powdered sugar on top of it
It's sadly 'normal', most of us would be mortified by a dead body, but living there, people die possibly daily. The radiation is to much. The older men/woman have a higher chance of surviving
I know. Airport security be like: let me see your bag. Ok, money... "eXtRa PrOtEcTiOn???" Why doe you have this many- *punched in face* runs supa fast and hops on airplane
There’s a guy on RU-vid that restored a flat in Chernobyl and illegaly lived in it for days. While Tyler uses the mask, they swim in nuclear power plant’s cooling pool (not a joke) His youtube channel is called Kreosan, he has English channel too
You forgot to mention the incident in which a man called Captain Price (at the time Litenuant) had to go for a mission over there to snipe someone but failed miserably and took out the targets arm, leading to WW3
Want more nostalgia Only the hardcore fans got the melon head achievement and played that mission with captain Macmillan and his name as captain Macmelon , It was funny af
They killed all the dogs just after the explosion just to make sure they didn't experience any painful deaths. I know this is a joke - I'm not autistic - I just thought it would be interesting.
Hi that radar you visited is called the duga radar and it needed a constant power supply to power it, hence the power station. It worked by bouncing a signal of the ionosphere or the dome depending on your point of view But in reality this tech only works on a flat earth model so it had to go it would expose everything, hence the Chernobyl attack.
I am so jealous that you got there. I live in Czech Republic, it’s my Dream to go there! It’s still in the future for me😊 I hope i will get there one day❤
“She was sleeping but forever yanno” I feel like a terrible human for giggling at that. Rip lady I’m sure this was terrible but just his phrasing got me.
