Vey nice. I love working with composites and making molds. Once getting used to the nature of the materials, the possibilities are endless.

There are new filament types now, without internal resonances, which allow to 3d print a whole cabinet from start to finish
@mackemacchiato3238

My new idea is aircrete to get a lower vibration resonance and lighter than concrete as the sub speaker I did
@sc0or
@sc0or 2 месяца назад
@@mackemacchiato3238 Could be an option though. Don't forget to insulate it with some liquid rubber/silicone cause you'll have dust inside after some time (and it such water from an air like a pump)
@mackemacchiato3238
@mackemacchiato3238 2 месяца назад
@@sc0or yes, one can mix some coating like polyester and brush it. The concrete sub I have made as u see in the channel does not dust, but aircrete might.

You can also make sphere speakers using Ikea blanda matt bowls - I have done these and great results without need to work with resins.

That is true, as long as one gets the correct amount of volume for the designated speaker then it is all good. Doing creative stuff and having something No one else have is nice !

Ese diseño es HI-END para mi una de las mejores geometrías acústicas para baja y media potencia en entorno del hogar,solo que hubiera incluido material amortizante acustico internamente para evitar exceso de resonancia . This design is HI-END for me, one of the best acoustic geometries for low and medium power in the home environment.only that it would have included acoustic damping material internally to avoid excess resonance.

Pretty marvelous. Placed in a corner they even gives good low frequencies. So I sold a couple to a company that have them in a lunchroom in the upper ceiling corners and they asked where the Subwoofer was. The tweeter is one of the expensive ones in Monacor’s catalogue and gives amazing details without beeing too sharp for listening even very loud!

Fantastiskt snyggt!!

drive.google.com/file/d/194yvh8UuWDT8brBDTsA18WjzgnsQD-Lj/view?usp=sharing --- To answer your question, Yes! Sort of. Here is a DIY 3d-printed/cement-cast hybrid project I completed recently. It involves a 3d-printed inner and outer globe, and sand topping mix is poured between layers. Once dried, the outer globe is removed, revealing an imperfect, but cool moon-patterned cement globe. I plan to post the design, along with a project guide on Thingiverse, soon. I'm by no means an audio expert (hence the use of Dayton audio ps95s and a sealed box design), but they sound very good to my ears, and look awesome!
