I love that you didn't edit out that bit with the dry flour on the bottom of the bowl. It shows we all miss things at times, you just go back and fix it.
Looks SO good! Can't wait to make it. Just a suggestion, can the ingredients be listed in the order they appear? It's very confusing that the oil is listed first but doesn't appear until she mixes the wet ingredients.
looks like one of those cakes that you could spoon dollops of jam on before baking to create pockets of jammy sweetness (instead of adding a glaze later)
When growing up snacking cake was just that. A small piece say like for a lunchbox. So, not a full cake slice like at Thanksgiving or a birthday party or wedding.
I made the cake, but I realized the ingredients list one large egg and 1 egg yolk. But when you watch the video, there are two yolks in her bowl of wet ingredients. So I used two yolks as I observed in her bowl, and 1 egg yolk. Cake is delicious.

The spice snack and cake recipe says the cake can be refrigerated wrapped in plastic up to three days is that baking ahead of time. How long is the cake good for?
