Spicy Enoki Mushrooms  

tried this with my sister and the sauce was fire but we weren't expecting the mushrooms to be really chewy. we had to chew for like minutes just to swallow lol

For the people saying that they didn’t expect the mushroom to be so chewy- in Chinese we also call them 明天见 (ming tian jian) which translates to „see you tomorrow“. I think you can imagine why that’s the case lol

just made this without the chilis- sooooo good. def making this again asap. i added more sesame oil on top at the end it was great

Hey, I saw that you stirred the sauce mixture with a metal spoon, and you can't scrape a nonstick pan with metal utensils. If you use metal utensils on a nonstick pan, you scrape up the teflon from the pan.

Can someone tell me about the pepper paste? What is that stuff, I can't find it. Is it made out spicy peppers or bell peppers?

Me, my brother and my mom just made this and heres how (btw this is our first time eating it): We just added oil and garlic and didnt wait but we just put the enoki right on the pan and put spice (pepper) and some Hot Sauce and mixed it until it looked browner and took it out after a few seconds! It tastes so chewy!!! :D

Enoki’s are the ONLY mushrooms I actually like. I love using dried shiitakes for stock……👀 but I’m not eating them.

Please don't mix metal utensils on "non-stick" pans. The metal utensils will scratch the surface and you can ingest the Teflon coating, which is highly TOXIC.
