Hello everybunny! Here’s a spicy little story time about when a famous Japanese band recruited me for nefarious purposes, As always thanks for watching and please subscribe!
"if a girl is treated to a meal by a man , it means she accepts to go to a hotel." it is said by Japanese men online in Japan recently.😨 It scares me a lot.
@@CapsuleBunny That's good for you not to have seen crazy comments. I'm Japanese and see such crazy comments on twitter and youtube etc. online and get lots of LIKE👍 in Japan. Sometimes famous Japanese celebrities insist those 😅They rarely say such crazy things to foreigners and don't do that actually.
@@cr8284 I think men in general, especially online are pretty sexist :( Japan doesn’t have great gender equality either. I guess I’m saying men are terrible everywhere, not just Japan hahah
Oof this is so wrong. What bothers me the most is how both the artists and the managers just seem to be okay with this and all. I won't spill tea (or names for that matter) either but I've had similar experiences with Japanese artists and just... how they all act and react in these situations.. they all seem to think its so normal and within their rights and I just can't... 🥲 I have the feeling that what you said at the end is true btw, lots of girls are gonna feel pressured in this situation and therefore won't say no, so unfortunately I think their "succes rate" with this disgusting tactic is actually pretty high 💀
Yeahhh I also used to get invited to lots of nomikai with musicians and… unsurprisingly they’re not great people as I realized quite quickly 🥲 I’m sure they could quite easily get laid on their own I don’t know why they have to try and manipulate people, it’s pretty sad.
I can’t believe all of this is your actual life, you experienced more in these years living in Japan than others do their whole life 😭 being with friends with you must be the most fun thing hahah
Haha I’m super boring now! All I do is go to cafes and watch Netflix 😂 I think Japan used to be way more fun and wild before the pandemic, even Shibuya and Shinjuku feel more calm down hehe
I think I stayed in Japan too long to think this unfortunately normal..I had similar experiences like a girlfriend inviting me to a game night and me finding out that they were basically filming AV next door. I was out there as soon as I entered. Another time I was invited to a MV after party by a famous musician with whom I had been talking about music a bit. It was fun but he tried his luck. He was a gentleman, so he stopped without any problems when I told him I am not interested and made sure I went home safe. Fortunately. Just be careful girls, sometimes Japan seems so safe it is easy to let your guard down.
You act like you a victim😂 be carful of what? Men being interested and politely asking you, adult to adult, face to face, to have casual sex? Gimme a break.
It's pretty normal in the VK Scene and you would surprised how many girls actually want this. I am living in Tokyo since a long time and my friends are predominantly male artists (its kind of this friends introduce friends thing) and the things I saw and stories I heard. Luckily I know most of my boyz for a long time and I am pretty protected by them but yeah... it's a thing
This came up in my recommendations probably because something similar happened to me recently and the FBI read my chat logs this past month(?) (only in my case it was after a live, not them straight out contacting me, your case was WILD😭). I saw in another comment that someone had apparently guessed the band (SuG or An Cafe) and afaik none of them have a *dead* member (they have exmembers tho) but I can absolutely see it coming from them. They were also my fav bands when I was like 13, seriously as much as I like vkei most bandmen (and famous people in general) seem to be like that, gross 😭 That's why I prefer liking a band as a whole for their music without getting too invested in the members and their lives
The only band coming to my mind is Gakido... Either way, this sounds terrifying. I could never... Even if it's my favorite vk band or band in general... I'm pretty sure that it wasn't their first time doing stuff like that, probably they aren't the only ones doing it either
what a scary experience (but tbh i prolly woulda said yes depending on the band…)! i’m glad you got some free sushi and money out of it lol. also, you’re super pretty!!
What a crazy story. At least you got free sushi. But still, it could have gone badly. I cannot believe they went to such lengths for that, like talk to people yourselves! Yeesh. I really wish that people should wise up and not put people into those situations.
I knew another manager who would do something similar and I always thought “why??” Like these guys are pretty famous it can’t be hard for them??? Literally 0 effort it’s so lazy and uncreative
@@CapsuleBunny Well, I imagine they think people will be all over them when in reality then need to put in effort like everyone else. Plus are they that unconfident in their own personalities?
This kinda sounds like the manager was trying to get you to do パパ活 by talking about all the expensive stuff he had and how cool he was for being a band manager. Especially when he gave you about $300 for a taxi home. He essentially paid you for your time. That guy is honestly weird for thinking you'd be impressed. Maybe he thought you'd contact him again for more "dates" afterwards. I'm the same way as you where I'm not a huge fan of celebrities or idols. They're just people to me and I'm not gunna treat them like gods or act super into them. If you were though, that's super scummy that they tried to take advantage of a fan and then the manager preyed upon you afterwards like wth. At least it's a great story LMAO I often do stuff like this if there's low risk just for the experience.
Yeah I feel like he definitely picked the wrong one that day lol I definitely took way more risks when I was younger but I didn’t see it as any more or less dangerous than meeting someone from a dating app honestly.
You got confused for being a groupie type, many people would do unspeakable things for the opportunity (often even just for the vaguest sense of fame, remember the girls in school that would rally around an idiot/ass strictly for their popularity) and stars get used to validating themselves by taking people up on it. If random people can recognize them and go for it, even better boost for them. Especially hits for artists just after debut, then again after a downturn when they start to feel a bit more insecure in their position. Sometimes bad stuff, and the idea itself is weird, but the people aren't usually doing it to be malicious. That said, it's a bit weird this was in my recommendations for being so old. I'm not complaining, your storytelling is always interesting
These were probably lies tho. I know a ton of groupies who lied just to make it sound like they had contact with musicians. Be careful what you believe online.
@@CapsuleBunny i guess so suddenly the japanese politeness flies out the window 😭 one guy told me that this one specific vkei band even broke the fricking bathroom sink
I only really care a couple bands. Like meeting them wise. Literally later today I get to meet ACME again and I’m so excited. I’ve only met them once before. But it was awesome. I even did Hal and Chisa some birthday cards. Big fan. 😂 I love concerts. But ACME is the one band I big care about in that regard. I wanna be their friend. Even grandpa Haru. He jokes bc he is the oldest member of ACME lmfao. Wheee.
I will say this is not in Japan but LA and I’m not anywhere near LA so we gotta drive for like a whole day tk see them bc flights just arent it b. Too expensive. Crowded. Kinda hate airports. I’m so happy. I cant wait.
@@CapsuleBunny they are indeed. Very sweet dudes. And like you can actually talk to them like real humans. They dont get all “I’m in a cool band” in that way. But they might be like “my band is cool eh? Bet y think we’re cool!. Do you think we’re cool?! I also hear funny stories a lot such a Shogo san really like American french fries. And I like to watch Haru’s Hiking vlogs where he hikes a lot sometimes. I could go on. I’m HOPINGGG they come again this November back to a local con so I can figure out what level of entry ticket to get. Bc for them I’d get VIP. I told them I would hang out with them longer next time!
I know this story is from several years ago but this isn’t the first time you’ve been like “yeah I think I can take him” or “this’ll be fun” so you interacted with someone even though it’s a MASSIVE red flag 😭 pls be safe and have safer habits, even if it’s Japan
Oh I’m super boring now lol I didn’t do anything like this in years haha I’ve never put myself in a situation that could be actually dangerous so far, but I’ll definitely be careful :)
If this happened to me, I’ll definitely won’t go. I’m a super timid girl and plus I am not a big fan of j vkei bands with all the chaoticness in my opinion so I’ll seriously will decline and but I see u are very brave lol it’s really something I can’t afford but yeah😂 good think ur safe
@@CapsuleBunnyI think it's An café. They started their career before SuG and the lyrics of their songs are more horny. Yuki from An cafe had a lot of girl in Twitter before.
@@CapsuleBunny I'm not so surprised, wasn't there a naked pic of Miku that was leaked i the 2000s by someone he got involved with ? (a friend told me about that)
I just searched “band silhouette” It is not Dir en Grey, the description I gave also made it obvious it’s not them so I’m sure no one will get confused :)
Wow all I can was what was their intentions for this? and to invite you to their hotel room and them just giggling like they didn’t think you catch on to them but you did tho
