32:49 No, Venom is shocked. There's literal blood on his hands. He just killed someone. Remember, the symbiote still needs time to bond with its host. This is Harry. This isn't what he intended to do, but once he made the decision to take Kraven's life, there's no going back. (Not that he didn't kill a shit ton of people before this moment..)

Kraven’s real name is Sergei. Sergei Kravenoff. And he has potions that enhance his physical abilities. They actually show that earlier in the story.

8:05 Kraven gets his superhuman abilities in this just like in the comics, with potions, but the video you guys watched skipped that part. And yes, Kraven is dying from cancer; that's why the meds, and that's why Peter says in this video that he is just a "dying old man," and that's why Kraven wants an equal to kill him because he doesn't want to die sick and weak. That’s why he call it “Last Hunt”. And after both of you finish Spider-Man I would love to see you both react to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s a great game, and the characters are way more comic accurate than the MCU.

Playing as Venom was one of the biggest and best surprise moments I have ever experienced in gaming! I was smiling ear to ear just like Venom throughout that whole sequence. That final fight with Kraven alone was one of the most epic boss fights I’ve seen in years. Kraven doesn’t just want a warriors death, but a hunter’s death, he wants to die to the biggest, baddest, and most savage predator in the world. Hell he was proud to be Venom’s first trophy! Kraven is truly pure evil, but goddamnit if he isn’t a badass! Also Miles and Peter reminded me of Sam and Frodo in their fight. Miles not only fighting to get the Symbiote of of Peter but also motivating Peter to fight it himself. Like trying to help your friend kick an addiction by LITERALLY kicking and beating it out of them. But one of my absolute favorite moments is the entire fight with MJ as Scream (who is an actual Symbiote from the comics). Peter is finally hearing the truth, that he has not thought about MJ and her mental and emotional wellbeing as much as he should have. Laura Bailey and Yuri Lowenthal are absolutely killing it in that scene. And it proves why Stan Lee said Peter and MJ were his favorite couple.

The Scream symbiote was one of the five symbiotes that were forcefully spawned from the original Venom symbiote, and was their unofficial Californian leader The Scream symbiote also appears in the Spider-Man series finale "Maximum Venom", voiced by Meg Donnelly. This version is the older sister of the Venom symbiote who was created by Knull to serve as a member of the Symbiote sisters alongside Mania and Scorn. Additionally, she possesses a host that has sonic abilities.

- At first, I was a bit disappointed that they killed off Kraven in the game since he was such an intimidating and badass villain; however, it makes narrative and thematic sense why he was killed off, as it not only lines up well with his endgame being to find a prey strong enough to kill him to avoid dying a command man's death, plus it also makes Venom all the more intimidating and deadly. - *Playing as Venom was such an insane surprise; it gave me major Ultimate Spiderman game vibes; I LOVE IT!* - Harry as Venom in this game works explicitly well, far more than I ever could've expected, because usually, in other adaptations, when they make Harry Venom, it doesn't really work. Here in this game's story, it lines up really well and was thematically built up well. - Making MJ into Scream was also such a clever idea and a cool way to integrate the character into the game. BTW she was absolutely roasting Peter like crazy.

That’s because harry actually had a need for venom, in the ultimate spider man he became venom just because and became anti venom too basically being eddie brock, here he needed venom to survive

I've been loving the reactions and discussions for this one!! Everything with Miles and Martin Li is a major highlight for me. Kraven's backstory is most clearly shown during the entry Peter found when he snuck into the Hunters party. You can learn more about Kraven through some of the side missions too (would definitely reccomend reacting to some of those)! Gamer's Little Playground definitely did a great job compiling this but sadly there were a few moments I wish weren't cut. Like during the scene where Venom and Kraven fight there is an amazing exchange: Kraven: "Let us show the world what death SHOULD be!" Venom: "You want death? Then give up!!" Kraven: "I want it to be WORTHY of me!! Do you know what it's like to have your body betray you?! Weakness will not claim me! If I am to die soon, I will die ROARING!!!!" I really wish you both saw that. It's such an interesting parallel between Sergei and Harry. Both have limited time but one wants to help people while the other hunts and kills to prove some point about his primal view of the world (something that even tainted his family as you can see in the Hunter Bases side mission) Jim Pirri is SO amazing as Sergei Kravinoff! I honestly feel really bad for Aaron Taylor Johnson when he's about to play Kraven. The dude is going to get the Morbius treatment. Not going to match the one closest to the game. I think Sony made one good decision... Delay the movie and not release near the same month as the game with actual kraven. lol

Kraven is spelled with a K because it has nothing to do with 'craven/cowardly'. It's a nickname derived from his full name, Sergei Kravinoff.

1:04:04 The second Venom movie had the least popular depiction of Carnage thus far. He was one of Spider-Man's most dangerous foes, being a symbiote infused in a serial killer. He only lasted one movie, which is pretty bad. While I do think both movies were fine and Morbius wasn't that great, I do wanna see Sony's Madame Web, although they already deviated from her origin already (she's supposed to be blind and crippled).

So many surprises in this part of the game, playing as Venom, the introduction to Scream, etc. The only thing that didnt surprise me was Pete vs Miles and Kraven's death. Lets be honest here, the best story Kraven has ever had was when he died. Thats it.

This person, playing as Peter, only had 2 (?) abilities unlocked and 2 (?) gadgets purchased? I can't tell if they're ignoring every signal side mission, or just bad at using their tokens/tech parts.

My jaw dropped when MJ became Scream. Scream was from the Venom Lethal Protector comic. MJ wasn’t the first host. Just how Harry wasn’t the host for Venom. That’s made for the game. In the Venom 2 movie, that wasn’t Scream. That was the character Shriek.

Actually they did hint at Kraven origins in the game. The potions in his studies were the reason he's super strong. In the comics it's a lot more explained. The gamer skipped some parts though.

Overall I thought Harry was handled quite well and I enjoyed his friendship with Peter but him as Venom was one aspect I don't think really worked to be honest. He felt more like a generic world ending villain. The games approach of having Harry as the host for the Symbiote as the story progressed didn't really matter as nothing about Harry's personality was reflected in Venom Which kind of cheapened the character. It would helped make the thread more emotionally impactful if they had kept the steaks low with an emphasis on the personal battle between Venom and Peter. Overall it felt like Venom in name and appearance only.

If that was true then *every* person turned into a symbiote by Venom would still be a symbiote in the next game. Having a "codex of the symbiote" still in the host is only possible with the prime symbiote.

In the comics, Scream's host wasn't Mary Jane. She has had three hosts: Donna Diego, a security guard at the Life Foundation; Patricia Robertson, a former Venom host; Andy Benton, a former student of Flash Thompson, who was Agent Venom for a while and is currently Anti-Venom. She was a hero with Andy. As far as I know, the Scream symbiote hasn't showed up in any movies.

@@johnsantos507 I mean, maybe. There's a yellow symbiote that possesses a bunny and then dies. Maybe that is Scream, but since it never turns into Scream, it never calls itself Scream and it never even says anything so it doesn't show in the credits, we can't possibly know for sure. That could just be Scream, but that could also be Phage or even some random symbiote that just happens to be yellow.

While I agree with achara, yes objectively venom 2 was NOT good, but this is one of those films I’m willing to forgive because I love Tom hardy, and I LOVE the character of venom, so even though the sequel wasn’t a well put together movie, I still very much enjoy it because of those two, honestly I should say because of him! He played both parts and Tom played them so well
