Continuing the over-achievement marathon, this time tackling all 48 races in Spider-Man 3, abusing some intended and unintended mechanics.
Completing races with any trophy as well as just swinging for a while unlocks more maneuver skills, such as faster swing speeds, the abillity to boost web-zips and more. You also unlock more skills by completing all 3 MJ Thrill Rides.
Note that you have to complete the first Lizard mission as well as any other mission to unlock wallrunning, which is required in many races.
The races in this game are all over the place, some are very easy and forgiving, some are very difficult and some have just the right amount of challenge that you don't feel overwhelmed. The main problem with the races and the game in general is that the controls feel unintuitive to the casual player at first. You really have to give it all if you want to succeed in those races.
Getting gold trophies achieves nothing in the game, bronze trophies are just enough to complete it 100%. However, if you're playing the PS3 or Xbox360 versions, you get an award for getting all gold trophies.
