Not sure how to feel about this run. Didn't get any bronze trophy, so that's a good thing. But at the same time, I'm almost 3 minutes behind sum of best. 40 gold trophies, 8 silver trophies.
People give this game a lot of shit and say it's garbage, but Imo while it does have issues, it's still a solid game that you can kill some time playing
While I do honestly prefer Web of Shadows over Spider-Man 3 (even though that's really just a "improved" version of this game's engine), with everything about this game and guys like Shtrudel that take this game to the next level, I can understand why this game is good in it's own respects. For me personally, the game just has this quirk to it and it sticks to consistently. It's felt tremendously throughout the entire game. That quirkiness being present combined with how the game expresses itself gives it a lot of soul, something that's missing not just in current Spider-Man games but really in video games as a whole nowadays. But that's not to take away from the other Spider-Man games that are in fact gems.
The action sequences, the combat moves, the reddish light that comes off when the rage meter fills, spidey being extremely brutal to sandman when he first wears the black suit and black suit spidey actually killing kingpin! The soundtrack and the quick time events are not that bad either! I am actually really impressed by those combat moves, I mean there are just so many of them! This game is okay!
I know all this because I've beaten this game like five or six times! But still this game has flaws but it's still okay! Every spidey gaming fan should play this game at least once, it is indeed a great time killer!

Thanks. Rino (SM2000) is a very tough game to speedrun. Many tricks have only one shot or you'll have to reset the run. While I know how to perform all the tircks, pulling everything in one sit flawlessly is really hard. In addition, the game lags for me, so I suffer from lots of key ignore. I think I can fix the lags, but I'm busy with other games at the moment. My current PB is 26 flat (not recorded, because I forgot to record the run OpieOP)
