I remember seeing this advert on the T.V. as a kid thinking "Venom looks freaking epic!" Plus I love that particular bit of editing at 0:14, looks like the police are shooting at Venom. I remember thinking that was gonna be the same scene!
@multihitts yup! Personaly the Lack of screentime in venom never bugged me, all i wanted was to see the Black Dude in a Spidey Film and thats what we got! the film Did not made me an Angry fan, it made a happy fan since we Got to see Venom in the big Screen at last

I love venom, he's so awesome,but it was sad that he wasn't shown much in spider man 3,I was looking foward to seeing him have a huge role in this movie,but they made him a minor character,when actually,he's a very major villain.the movie was still good,just could have been way,way better in the venom sense.

This is the real Venom. Topher Grace did a great job as both Eddie Brock and Venom. His characters are so underrated. I honestly think his Venom was amazing. 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

I remember watching the movie in the movie theater as a kid and i use to be really scared of Venom. Like i hid my eyes for the rest of the movie when Eddie Brock turned into Venom at the church. Then i remember i was thinking for whatever reason when Sandman met Venom, i thought Spider-Man got his black suit back but I got fooled so then I started to hide my eyes for the rest of the movie
@Aliun625 Actually Sony insisted that he put Venom in the movie so they can rake in more money with a popular character like that. So Raimi was pretty much forced and rushed to use Venom. That's why his origin wasn't explained & the movie seemed crowded. He didn't go on to make a Spider-Man 4, cause felt like he had little control in the 3rd film. That's why they're rebooting the movies. I think that he agreed that a character like Venom needs to be in it's own movie with Spiderman, not 10mins.
The start of the narration gave me inspiration for the mid-credits scene of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 dedicated to Shadow the Hedgehog's upcoming arrival this year
The movie was kool but the reson that venom was not in the movie so much i heard is because somebody decided to put him in the movie at the last second.
Clearly Sam Raimi wasn't too happy with house Spider-Man 3 came out because for some reason he didn't want to include Venom in the movie but they ended up doing that and that's why he canceled Spider-Man 4 but I'm pretty sure if Spider-Man 4 was a thing Carnage would be in it because it only makes sense if Venom was in the third movie it would only make sense to include Carnage in the fourth with Jim Carrey playing the role
No, They rushed Venom. The Raimi trilogy ended because they couldn't decide on the right villan. If they kept Venom for Spiderman 4 that wouldnt of happened and the series would probably still be going. But yeah Tobey was getting old.
you know whats funny that those clips are pretty much the only venom clips that were in that movie xD he was only in the movie for 5 lousy minutes then he dies >w> dont get me wrong i love the movie its just that they could've made it better P: DAMN YOU SAM RAIMI!
@LoneBlack007 im looking forward 2 tha reboot, but i wish they would've done 4 and 5 first. Freaking sony, they couldn't let raimi do his own thing when he wanted the lizard, now as just a big slap in the face, they're using the lizard in the reboot.
For those who are wondering why so many people think the Venom in this movie was a disaster, here are some of the reasons to help; 1. His alter ego, Eddie Brock, is given absolutely no back-story. 2. He was only in the movie for maybe 30 minutes. 3. When we finally did see Venom, Eddie kept peeling his mask back every single time he talked. 4. Anyone who read the comics or watched the animated series knows that Venom was not a whiny punk but a freaking monster who was stronger than Spidey.

@DarkPhoenix3D i kno i always thought i was the only 1 who ever noticed that if they werent planning on having him in in the first place and he is hardly in it at all and his name isnt even mentioned i wudnt hav even bothered putting him in the script at all and just save him for SM4 that cud hav saved some of the criticism that this film got
The rebootwas better because they actually followed the comic well kinda (lizard looked like the freakin joker with that mouth XD)besides the spider bite didnt give him webbing powers it never did this is bull
