I’m so glad the Avengers don’t treat him like a nuisance, but rather as a welcome member of the team. I’m so sick of all these comic runs and other adaptations treating Spidey as a piece of gum under someone’s shoe.
I love how every other Avenger is dressed tactically or relatively realistically and Spidey just looks like a guy in spandex. I'm not bothered by it or anything, I just find it funny.
@@someperson46 + he's kinda just a kid, he's also traditionally always broke, unless someone else gives him some new gear well the spandex is just what he could afford really
@@markmagician2471 u got to be kidding me right? spidey is the strongest and most durable out of all of them (except thor and hulk) no way that cap is even close to spidey's durability
Tony Stark is still trying to guess Spider-Man's real name. Meanwhile, when Spider-Man says he thinks Coney Island hotdogs have always been bad, Steve Rogers responds, "I'm sorry, *Peter,* we cannot be friends anymore."
Thinking about how Steve would tell Tony knowing Spider-Man's identity isn't worth it because he said the Coney Island hotdogs were bad America went ahead to unfriend him bigtime
The most real thing about this is how captain America and Spidey talk about food. Any New Yorker knows the "only" true place to get food, and anyone who disagrees are blasphemers.
@@ChristianGibbons777 living in the Bronx, I literally almost started a war between my friends by saying I wanted a good pernil. At the end, there was a proposal for a restaurant crawl that Only Didn't Take Place because we did NOT want to travel 2 hours to this special area of Queens. My friend complained that the results will always be tainted because we had everything but hers, so we didn't do it.
@@kandrs7445 I can somewhat relate. I live in Queens, and about 3 weeks ago, I made a case about what I thought was the best pizza in NYC. When I did, me and a group of friends were actually debating Good Pizza Restaurants within the five boroughs (Not including Dominos or Little Caesars).
I love how Spiderman is more involved in Kamala and Tony's prank war more than Black Panther even though Black Panther for more than 3 months and Spiderman has been out for less than 1 week
I wish that the MCU Spiderman suit looked like the one in this game because this design is clearly inspired by John Rometa Senior's comic panels from the late 60s to early 70s
Bruce : Can you please delete that account Peter : I have no idea what you are talking Bruce : You know exactly what I am talking my email is full of people trying to flirt with me Peter : See it's working you will get back out there in no time Doctor Banner plenty of fish in the sea Bruce : Please stop ok I am begging here Me : Technically you should be consulting Tony as well since he was part of it
I actually like Spidey's response to Tony about the cameras. Shows he's not some rookie at this. He's like "Tony I'm a very intelligent person who fights people with doctorates on the reg, obviously I have a contingency for that."
seeing kamala and peter on screen is like the best thing that happened to me after they put kamala as the head of the avengers game, my girl is getting the recognition she deserves😌
To me, Peter and Kamala are like the youngest ones in the team while Tony and Steve are the adults in charge.. which I kinda like it in my eyes, there like superhero teens who are still training to become better but seeing them on screen it’s such a wholesome moment 🥹♥️🫶🏻
Y’know, I give this game a lot of guff, but the interactions are all really fun and great; this goes especially for Spidey’s interactions with the team.
I feel like they nailed Pete's nerdiness and his awkward charm, and I feel like he's certainly up there with Tom Holland, Spidey Ps4, and Andrew Garfield
for example go to hawkeye askin pete about the mail, you cant deny cringing when pete responds. he'd respond in such a way but i think the voice every now and then is a lil weird
Spider-Man: so how many of the avengers have tried lifting the hammer. Thor: (sighs) all of them Well when you got some of the strongest people in the world and a hammer that only the worthy can lift people will wonder
The game has nice banter with the heroes. If only the developers has excluded some terrible game designs and mechanics this game could have easily won game of the year
I feel like I'm the only one in the world that wants a buddy superhero movie with Kamala and Peter just heroing together and geeking out together. I love their friendship.
I love how Steve piece together that Peter went through a silimair process to him and did try to reassure him it that it isn't bad nor a problem. Just somwthing that need to get use too.
I see Thor more as a War Cleric than a barbarian honestly. I do love the D&D reference tho. I wish there was a mission where you play D&D with the Avengers that would be cool.
I think that could also be a Critical Role reference where Thor's voice actor, Travis Willingham, actually played a Barbarian in the first campaign, and has been craving to go back at it ever since. Natasha's voice actress, Laura Bailey (Travis' wife), is also a cast member. Totally recommend it, they just started their third campaign.
I've often wondered if characters like Spider-Man and Captain America suffered from some form of imposter syndrome, having gone from one existence (frail and weak) to what they are now (demi-gods among men). It was satisfying to hear them speak on it 16:48 as it's an aspect of their characters that doesn't get touched on a lot in media.
Seeing Spider-Man and Black Widow is my favorite. The two heroes with spider related names meeting to talk about it. Especially the band conversation. 😂 it’s adorably wholesome.
So Spider-Man, Kamala, and Shuri are playing D&D and tried getting Thor and Kate to play. I really wanna know who else is playing, who's the DM, and everyone's characters
I do remember thor teamed up with conan the barbarian for his marvel comics and he was an avenger before with punisher and venom as the SAVAGE AVENGERS to be honest travis Willingham would be cool as marvel's conan the barbarian for a another avengers cartoon or video game but no but keep dreaming there's always fanfiction stories
I really just realized when Peter was trying to lift Thor’s hammer that he isn’t worthy, why? He should be able to considering the fact that he is even more sympathetic and genuinely nicer then even Captain America who was also able to lift Thor’s hammer.
@@mono3769 yes part of being worthy is the will to kill, the 2 most consistent rules are you need to be willing to kill and you need like i heroic spirit or something along those lines
16:00 Spider-Man: C’mon just let me borrow it for five minutes Captain America: No no you’ll break it Spider-Man: I thought your shield was unbreakable Captain America: Knowing you you’d find a way.
Every time I think of the similarities between cap and spidey a new one pops up. They probably would somehow bond over going from zero to hero from 1 simple trick....
The subtitles in these clips are so wack, they only appear for like a second despite the sentences being spoken out much longer haha. You'd have to be a speed reader to catch a glimpse of these subtitles :D
spidermans ass is amazing. they worked on the right things when setting up the game. also, black widow: how have you survived this long?" spiderman"spider sense. aaaaand humour, to cover up for the sheer panic". sounds about right
