This gave me an idea for a full story: Peter Parker, a high school student struggling to pays the bills, trains to become strong so he can fight off his school bully. But being triple-teamed by the bully's friends, he pulls out his uncle's gun to defend himself. Under the tutelage of his retired ex-con Uncle Ben, he then turns to a life of violence as Gun-man. He starts off by robbing a minor wrestling joint so he can buy a car to impress MJ. Unfortunately, the wrestling joint doesn't have much money, so he goes to Jameson to get hired as an assassin. Also sadly, in the escape Uncle Ben is shot. Meanwhile, Norman Osborn, a boss of both his company and the mob, procures some illegal drugs and tries to microdose them as a test. Realizing the potent powers it could give him, he takes a potent combination by drinking, boofing, shooting up, and inhaling at the same time and becomes the super-strong Green Goblin. After Goblin eliminates a competing mob family using military tech, Jameson orders his best employee, Gun-man, to take out the Goblin. Gob lin offers that they should team up, but Gun-man turns him down because Jameson knows his secret identity as Peter Parker. Gun-man is grazed by one of Goblin's bullets but escapes. At a family dinner, Osborn realizes Peter is Gun-man. Goblin then threatens Aunt May and abducts Mary Jane to lure Parker in. He beats up Gun-man's gun-resistant suit but Gun-man picks up his gun and forces Goblin to back down. Goblin would rather rely on military tech and drugs to fight people, and is now about to lose the fight. Gun-man takes Goblin's tech and impales him with it to make it appear that he did it to himself by accident. Goblin's last words are to not tell Harry so that Harry does not follow his life of crime. . In the sequel, Gun-man attempts to take out a scientist who is going to provide cheap renewable energy. He fails to kill Dr. Octavius but the bullet damages Octavius's brain and Octavius vows to proceed with the project at all costs. After Gun-man's failed assassination, he tries to retire but realizes he cannot when Octavius tells Mary Jane about why he was almost assassinated. To prevent the truth from spreading any more, he forces Octavius to destroy the renewable energy project at gunpoint. Octavius is also convinced because the FBI is about to blow up the project if they do not shut it off. Gun-man then threatens Mary Jane not to tell anyone or there will be consequences. Mary Jane agrees and falls in love with him because she has Stockholm Syndrome. . In Gun-man 3, Harry has just discovered that his father was the Goblin, and he has ordered his butler, an old mafia assistant, to re-assemble Osborn's gang. Peter is being celebrated at work for finishing off Octavius. But he is assaulted by Harry who discovered his identity last movie. Harry frees Flint Marko from prison on the condition that Flint Marko kills Peter, while Harry begins juicing the "Goblin" serum. After Flint and Peter's first encounter, Marko, who is really buff, barely escapes. When Peter returns home, he finds videotape in his mailbox which proves that Flint killed his uncle, not the cops, in order to stop the rise of the Parker gang. Flint returns to a disappointed Osborn who promises to heal his gunshot wounds and forgive his failure to kill Peter. He agrees, but he doesn't know they are transforming him into Sandman until it's too late. MJ wants Peter to abandon his life of crime for them to get married, but he refuses. Harry befriends her to suggest that they should break up, and they do. Marko attacks Peter again, who defeats him knowing that he killed Uncle Ben, but can't destroy him as he is made of sand. Peter demands a staff job because he is constantly getting targeted by the Osborn gang. After Jameson refuses, Peter strikes out on his own, being replaced at the Bugle by Eddie Brock. Spiteful at Eddie, he begins dating Gwen. One day, he tries to greet MJ and inform her that he has quit the mob. She calls the security and he shoots them and almost shoots her, then leaves. In the last battle, Marko and the New Goblin team up to pound Peter into oblivion, but Jameson, who notices what is going on, buys a gun off a little girl and intervenes, allowing Peter to escape Sandman's grasp. Peter and Jameson defeat Osborn and hold him at gunpoint. Peter admits the truth that he killed Norman, it was not an accident. They then impale Harry in the same way. Flint comes and says he only wanted to see his daughter and they mercifully let him go. Jameson realizes Peter was right and brings him back to the Jameson mob as a major crime boss. Eddie Brock is fired. Peter happily dates Gwen Stacy and moves on from MJ, and Jameson buys out Police Commissioner Stacy. In Gun-man 4, it is possible Eddie Brock will team up with other mob bosses such as the Lizard, Mysterio and the Vulture, to fight Peter.
