It still makes no sense for Tony to leave an army of killer drones to a 16 year old kid. Like why would Peter even need an army of killer drones anyway, he’s one of the only Avengers who doesn’t kill so why even give it to him? It makes no sense anyway you spin it.

Tbh, I just though it was probably on his will pre snap and he had the idea to nurture him to be as successful as him. Over the years. But then thanos happened, then depression, afterwards he probably just forgot to update his will then he died.

He basically overcompensated trying to protect him. Remember it was him looking at Peters photo that caused him to re run the sim and figure out time travel. They only had like a minute together after everyone came back. The "army of drones" was given to a pure, good kid. Tony knew he would never need to use the dangerous side because thats not who he is. Heroes aren't perfect and make mistakes regularly, just like people.

@@jomz2058 The problem is that everything you said is just speculation. They never actually explored any of that and leaving tech that can spy and order drone strikes on people to a teenager is ridiculous. It's absolutely bonkers and goes against the premise of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

I'd give Peter a break for the spell part because he originally asked Doctor Strange to go back in time and prevent Mysterio from doing what he did and then when Wong says Strange is always forgetting things, he says to Peter 'I mean, it's just a simple memory spell but at least it will make people forget that you were ever Spider-Man' In Peter's ears that just sounds literally perfect, and he doesn't even think to ask to make the world forget Mysterio, because he hears that and like a normal teenager, goes along with what the adult is saying

I love how everyone starts to advocate stuff like this because its a MCU movie. Imagine it being in TASM 2, everyone would get hysterical about it; LAZY WRITING, BAD SCRIPT, OHH THIS MOVIE IS A DISASTER. NWH also got the same treatment, where a whole bunch of stuff did not make sense but everyone just ignored it cause, NOSTALGIA. 😂😂😂

Im a 100% with you on the tech part. Tony absolutely COULD program it in like 10 seconds by remote. But this whole argument hinges on that he actually planned this before hand... Which is have to question. If he KNEW he was gonna die that wouldve been one thing but claiming that he wouldve done that before hand seems uncharacteristic. He doesnt even trust Peter to handle anything beyond purse snatchers up until a couple of days before he dies. Programming global murdering technology with free access for the same teenager seems astronomically unlikely. He would most likely have programmed it to be dormant or in the care of someone else until he figured Peter wouldve grown up a bit.

I didn't see the daredevil tv series but to me he comes of as "why I should bother? I helped the best I could, the rest is his responsibility, there are villains in my neighborhood that are far more dangerous, threatening people who won't be saved unless an alien attacked them or something similar. This folks got only me" kind of vibe. So maybe that's why he didn't ahow up at the end battle?

Two things I'll put my two cents in: 1. Daredevil not being brought in makes sense because, yeah he's a superhero, but what exactly do you expect him to do against an alien army? I know we all love him, and it would've been great to see him, but people would inevitably ask, "How's he taking down aliens with punches, kicks, and Billy clubs?" Yes, he's got enhanced senses, but not enhanced strength. Also there was the matter of no one even knew who the guy is. Everyone on the battlefield were either the Avengers, allies of the Avengers, or people/armies that followed the allies of the Avengers. No one knows any of the Defenders, who are very much under the radar. 2. In response to Spider-Man's spider sense "not working," that's an incorrect guess. Spider-Man's spider sense does work, but it's not so simple. When he was getting attacked by Mysterio with the illusion tech, Spider-Man's spider sense did work and told him there was danger. But here's the problem: it doesn't tell you what the danger is. Say Mysterio sent one drone to attack Spider-Man head on, but uses the illusion tech to multiply that one drone into five drones. The spider sense will tell Spider-Man he's about to get attacked, but it doesn't tell him which drone is the real drone, which will leave him confused and vulnerable. His eyes and ears see and hear more than what his spider sense is telling him. Which is why, at the end, he had his mask shut his eyes and let his spider sense lead him. It's straight from the Spectacular Spider-Man show, where he did the same thing and said, "Ignore what I see and hear, and may the spider sense be with me." Which is why you see Spider-Man go straight through some bullets and fire without injuries, and dodging what seems to be nothing, during the final fight.

@@myentertainmentaccount502 Black Widow has guns and electric wrist gauntlets that she used. When those ran out, she used the Chitari's weapons. Daredevil doesn't have any type of weapon like that. Along with the fact that he wasn't with the Avengers, as I've stated too. They don't know him.

If you see overall and compare the movie with other marvel movies, it will look obviously a 'meh'. But if you see from execution perspective of the character Mysterio, compared to comics, it was more interesting. I couldn't have imagined before this movie that I will ever see this spider villain in a live action movie. Jack Gyllenhaal was awesome as Mysterio, and nailed it. Also I appreciate the fact that this was the only spiderman movie ever made, in which climax fight was happening in daylight 😆😆😆 Yeah for me too this is least favorite Tom Holland's Spiderman movie, but this movie is setup of one of the best spidey movie, 'No way home'. But it's not a 'meh' movie. This movie was a initial step for Peter Parker to come out from shadow of Tony Stark on his own.

There is a Spiderman series in which other heroes shows up when there is trouble. (avengers, xmen, halloween heroes, dr strange, agents of shield, odin, spider society etc.) All of them were there, its the longest running marvel animated series. Spider man is silly in it too.

Marvel should really have a few actors on call for cameos in every movie to cover the plot hole of no one else showing up. Fury could have also said that he's not starting an international conflict by bringing in American heroes to Europe and then he gives Peter his night monkey suit to conceal his identity. This would have also been a great opportunity to introduce a European hero like one of the Captain Britians, Blade, The Black Knight, Nightcrawler or Elsa Bloodstone.

5:14 It's something that's been going on since forever in superhero comics. It's just one of those things that the audience has to accept. In comics nobody bats an eye that every single superhero in the world doesn't show up to everything that happens, but with the MCU it's all of a sudden considered a "plot hole" or some other bullshit argument like that. It's in line with the internal logic of the franchise, meaning that, by definition, it's not a "plot hole". It's a feature of the shared universe. It's also a really, really, *_REALLY_* trite argument at this point.

Personally I preferred if aunt May had arguments with Peter, that she didn't want him to be a hero (logical, considering what the earth has come to, purple aliens wiping out human race, invasions, Peter being blipped, him facing an army of monsters and endangering himself because he is a teenager!) Them fighting and Peter going on vacation to get away from the tension, finding acceptance from an adult (Mysterio) and trusting him enough to give him the glasses would have been PERFECT. Because he comes off somewhat as an irresponsible person UNLESS he was desperate in finding validation which he couldn't find from aunt May, the person he trusted and loved. So in short, a lost opportunity :/

When it’s a stand alone movie in the universe sure they don’t need to bring in the other Avengers. But when Peter asks “isn’t there any one else who can handle this?” And is only told 2 of the almost 20 other possible choices are unavailable then it gets annoying to not bring them in when you talk about them

Daredevil character has yet to be established in the MCU. It makes no sense to have him fight straightup in the final fight with no explanation as to his traits & powers which wasn't explored in the film's beginning either. 6:20. It's like watching the climax of a movie skipping the before part.

I don't think the explanation you provided works for Far From Home. I think it's dismissing shoddy writing. The movie is the one that brings this up and decides to make this a thing, by having Peter ask about some characters, but doesn't provide explanations for why others aren't being asked to help in this big inter-dimensional monster issue, when something like that it makes sense for Strange, as an example, to be involved in and a guy who has above average strength and shoots webs and sticks to things has almost no viable skills against that type of thing. As far as No Way Home (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!) and... Matt Murdock: Matt is a mostly normal human. He has enhanced abilities, but that doesn't mean he'd have been able to not only get to the fight in time, but also be anything other than a hindrance to it, considering they're fighting actively superpowered villains, who are nearly unkillable at worst. Yeah, I think he's not there because the movie doesn't want him to be, but I think the movie doesn't try to make it a thing, with an explanation that doesn't really make sense as a whole like I think, like I feel like FFH has.

Tony Would Not Be Taking Focus Away From The Battle To Save The Universe To Even Consider Transferring Control Of Those Glasses To Peter. And When Peter Was Dead, Why Not Just Give Them To Rhodey?! Jon Watts Has An Issue Of Cheating With His Story Telling. Push Aside All The Fan Service In No Way Home And A Vast Majority Of The Movie Doesn't Make Sense Or Just Cheats COnstantly To Get To The Next Part. Same For This Movie. Tony Wouldn't Leave Such Dangerous Tech In A Small Compact Form To Peter. Doesn't Even Feel Like He'd Make It At All After What Happened With Ultron. If Anything, He'd Give It To Rhodey. And Mysterio Has No Endgame With His Plan. Even Going To Homecoming, Damage Control Or Whoever That Group Was At The Beginig Not Doing Their Dodiligence Of Checking To Make Sure They Had All The Alien Material And Vulture Just Selling It Out In The Open On The Streets, He Should Have Been Caught A Long Time Ago. The Fact That There Are Massive Plot Contrivancies With Each Film Doesn't Excuse The Flaw Of Each Film, It Just Shows That This Is Bad Story Telling All Throughout.

From my perspective Question 1 : why tony leave killer drone in hand of peter Ans is fking simple : 1st tony never meant to give him glasses right away he died an unaspected death and drone ownership automatically transfer to peter...Thing about it Avengers 1 , infinity war , endgame bunch of alien attacks on them so he made a drone to increase their defence for future probably after losing with Thanos. And he though that peter will be responsible after he became adult but not right now remember what he leave the massage to him " For next Ironman" is because he belive

The 'contrived' elements paradoxically make the TH movies convincing as a teen superhero story I actually wasn't a Spiderman movies' fan Liked the comic character, not the movies Teens act more on impulse than strategy & are rather impressionable. They have the ability not the experience & r desperate for validation Teens do more in absence of adult supervision - and actively find things to focus on Adults too act weird around them JW-TH SM looks & acts like a teen. Even the plot acts like a teen - makes the adult viewer think like a teen The 'contrived' aspects require a teenagery suspension of disbelief so as to Focus on the plot Jon Watts seems to get 'young adults' just about right
