Just reformatted this short video as a full video for those who don't really watch shorts. I'll be making a lot more full comic videos with some voice acting too so stay tuned (:
Why do writers keep coming back to Gwen? I don't think this is a case of milking a dry cow or banking on nostalgia, when the issue The Night Gwen Stacy Died was printed and read it became a landmark in comic book history and one of the two most defining moments in Spider-Man's history, the other one being Uncle Ben's death, but while Uncle Ben died on Spider-Man's debut on the very first issue, the readers got to know Gwen and how her relationship with Peter was and how in the history of the character it's the happiest time of his life, and then just like that she was gone, killed by the villain who became his archnemesis, for readers who experienced it back then and the ones that get to it now it was like getting run over, it hasn't been that many times when the readers have been that invested in a story or a character, and then Gwen Stacy became that impossible love, that dreamed girl that fate took away.
If i had a nickle everytime Peter was gifted a Deceased Loved one for a little while i would have 2 nickles... which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice
