I think when Dr Strange says that their coming and He can't stop them it has to do more about the start if his own movie then about Spiderman. Plus the coloring looks more like Kang and the miltiverse in Loki. Something big is happening and something is coming in to their verse and Dr Strange sounds scared that he can't stop it.

@@JaySewani It's 100% when the rest of the sinister 6 are coming through (sandman, lizard, electro) Just because the TRAILER shows it after doesn't mean thats how it is in the movie. Gauranteed this is in the middle act somewhere. Putting all that other stuff in would not make sense if you are trying to have a clear throughline in a 2 hour movie that already has all this other stuff going on. He will have a confrontation with dr strange, sinister 6, we know the other spidermen will be there, anything added on top of that would not make sense.

Andrew and Tobey or undoubtedly going to be in this movie. The part where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man charged at the Lizard, Electro and Sandman…you can tell that they edited out Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and Tobey’s Spider-Man, so they are going to be in that scene fighting Sandman, Lizard and Electro. I’m glad they didn’t show them in the trailer, it would have ruined the surprise.

My theory is that when doc strange said ' they all are fated to be defeated by spiderman' , I think strange meant that he cannot help peter in defeating the sinister six as it is his fate to defeat them. And tom cannot defeat the sinister six all by himself..... Which means that TOBEY and ANDREW are definitely in the movie !!!

Gwen’s is like the one scene that never left my mind. And this was before before TASM movies came out. I think? I was around 11-12 years old when I went to an anime convention and was skimping through some comics when I came around a spider man one. Skipped through some pages but there was this page that I stopped to read. It was when where Gwen falls, and Spider-Man reaching out to her, he fails saving her. I was going to continue reading but had to leave to catch up my parents. So when TASM 2 came out and that preview of Gwen falling I ended up saying out loud, “Oh….they are going with the comic book.” So now, seeing the new trailer, I’m pretty sure many of us screamed, “NO! NOT AGAIN!” when MJ was falling.

My food was cooking while I watched this. I served myself some food after I watched this trailer. I the food kept falling out of my hand because I could not stop shaking. This had my heart beating, marvel has evolved to a state that will go in the history books. Through a trailer, 3 minutes, they managed to rip my soul out, and then touch it up, and then put it back in. I never thought I could get more hype than I was for infinity war. Marvel brings us together, they've done something that's never been done and can never be done again. Day. One. We. There.

I'm a lot more excited now. I was worried that the movie was going to be just a big nostalgia gimmick but it seems like they have an actual arc in mind for Peter. Now I just want to see how they're handling the identity reveal. I'm glad Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire weren't shown in the trailer. In my opinion it's disingenuous to sell the movie on glorified cameos if they are indeed in the movie. And unlike most Spider-Man fans, I don't even care to see them in the film. This is Holland's iteration. I don't care about cheap nostalgia. I want a good story that furthers this Spider-Man's journey in a satisfying way.
