Spider-man: No Way Home Trailer Reaction 

When Green Goblin said “The world wants to make you choose,” I immediately thought of the line “We are who we choose to be, now choose!” from Spider-Man (2002)

Doctor Strange: “They’re all coming and I can’t stop them.” portal opens Mr Ditkovich: “Rent?”

The close up of Doc Ock when he says “You’re not Peter Parker” blew me away. Molina looks pretty much the same as he did in Spiderman 2, and the de-aging they used looks a lot better than I thought.

I think he says “hello Peter” to a fully suited up Tom, thinkings it’s Tobey under the suit. Then peters face is revealed, and he realizes it’s not the Peter parker he knows

I loved the “you’re not Peter Parker” line

Notice how Lizard and Electro are not charging towards Tom in the big fight scene 👀

Holden really turned Jen into a full on nerd. That’s so awesome. She nerded out just as hard as he did.

Jen’s knowledge and observation skill has improved a lot. Good to see her making good points and not just giving typical reaction.

Important things to always remember: They put fake scenes into trailers and they edit people out/in for the trailers/movie. Plenty of shots could have three Spider-Men and they just changed it.

At Marvel: "So, on which Spiderman old movie should we base our next one?" "Yes"

The end sequence against the Sinister Six pretty much confirms Toby and Andrew's roles. That, or Lizard is fighting John Cena 🤣🤣

One of the single most awesome things is how, after all her reactions and exposure to pretty much all the relevant Marvel things, Jen can now join Holden in coming up with theories for new movies and Holden doesn't have to dodge spoilers with the classic "who's to say?"

That final scene where Tom is attacking Electro, Sandman, and Lizard, notice Lizard and Electro are nowhere close to attacking Tom and almost seem focused on someone else? I am 100000% convinced Tobey and Andrew are in that shot but they edited them out for trailer sake

Glad Jen was able to get fully caught up between trailers Ock stealing the nanotech while fighting Tom, and Electros mask are highlights Black/gold suit is his regular one flipped inside out. You can see his phone and a pic of MJ&Ned taped inside.

I feel like Green Goblin and Electro are the main villains, with Sandman and Lizard more as "henchmen" for lack of a better word, and Doc Ock being a good guy. Also, Electro seems less like the nerdy character from ASM2, maybe he isn't from that universe?

First with scarlet witch and now with electro I'm loving how the MCU is paying homage to the original costumes while at the same time finding ways for them not to look as silly as they are in the comics. I guess they've been doing that since captain america's helmet wings being just some white lines painted on, but I think both wanda's crown and electro's mask were more of a challenge. Damn, even hawkeye is welcoming the color purple in his life now

If you haven’t already, try to check out the Brazilian version of the trailer. It looks like someone forgot to edit a part of that three villain shot and Lizard is getting punched by nobody, which basically confirms the other Spider-men.

In regards to the "they're coming through, and I can't stop them" theories, I have a couple ones of my own. 1. It could be the main catalyst point to trigger the events of the Multiverse of Madness, but I suspect they'll leave that for the end credits easter egg. 2. Given it's a Spider-Man movie concerning the multiverse, we could see a more formal introduction of Madame Web and the Spiderverse.

I’ve been watching these videos for awhile and other than when he proposed to Jen, this may be the most emotional I’ve ever seen Holden 😂

In the first trailer when Doc OC says "hello Peter" he's talking to Spiderman, in this trailer Peter reveals his face and Doc OC says "you're not Peter Parker". This is essentially what tells the audience that he's from another universe and isn't entirely aware of what has happened or is happening.

I can't wait. Especially growing up watching the cartoon. Seeing him collaborate with Dr. Strange in the first trailer brought back those memories. Also loved seeing the OG electricro design as well.

The final splash page like shot of Spider-Man vs Electro, Lizard and Sand-Man....ALL BUT CONFIRMS Tobey and Andrew are in this. One Lizard is far too low to even make a good swing at Holland. Two Electro and Lizard AREN'T EVEN LOOKING AT HOLLAND. They have eyes elsewhere. Three in the Spanish/Portuguese trailer Lizard appears to get SMACKED by something so, yeah they're totally in this and I'm betting that "they're coming through" line is for Tobey and Andrew.

The black and gold suit, that Tom’s Spider-Man is wearing .. is actually his red and black suit that he’d created in Far From Home, and is currently wearing in No Way Home. Is actually turned inside out, due to a Mysterio fan throwing green paint on his suit . Leading him to turn it inside out . We also see this during Spider-Man: Homecoming, when Tom’s Spidey and Ned is hacking into his training wheel protocols .. *Sorry for the bad grammar xD*

I think the red in Doc Ock’s arms and the black Spider-Man suit are linked. I think that Ock somehow tore the nanotech armor plating off of the iron-spider suit and incorporated it into his arms somehow. So spidey’s black suit is really just an under-layer of the iron-spider suit. So if anything, I think it’s a de-armored suit Edit: also, I think Marvel/Sony have been wanting to somehow get rid of that suit after endgame, it’s OP. they found an excuse for him not to wear it in Far From Home. But, like, at a certain point, why would he NOT wear it if he has access to it? It’s the most tricked out suit he has. And without it, he’s more vulnerable which breeds more compelling higher risk fights.

So we have gobby, doc oc, sandman, lizard, and electro. If they are going for a sinister 6 I believe they are keeping 1 more villain under wraps. Possibly venom is my guess Also when doc oc tells Peter that he's fighting ghosts (because in their universes spiderman kills some of these villains) it seems as though tom Holland's Peter doesn't agree with killing bad guys and that is the conflict between Peter and strange.

I'm glad They made Jamie Fox's Electro comic accurate rather than making him look like a blue humanoid salamander. Also Wiliam Dafoe's Green Goblin suit is the same look in Sam Raimi Spider Man.

so we know that the Andrew Garfield leak is real from the last building shot. those beams are the same ones hes holding onto in the leak. plus that shot with lizard sandman and electro, lizard is jumping towards something else and there's a lot of empty space.....good editing marvel lol. i strongly believe the other two Spideys will be in this film even if its just for the climax

The second frame after you see the close up of Green Goblin as his voice line is playing, you see Harry’s Goblin from SM3. Had the same googles and face mask over his mouth with the same glider. Just had to point that out. Im so hyped for this movie!!

I actually think Ock is gonna turn good by the end because you don’t seem him with the rest of the villains at the end, and there’s a shot of what seems like Electro attacking Ock

The armored suit 9:00, holden refers to here is actually the suit from far from home but turned inside out. In another scene you can see the cables. I suspect there will be a scene with some guy from a demo against spiderman will throw something at him, maybe some paint and that's why it's turned inside out. The armguards on it are magical devices, probably to givenby doctor strange to catch the villians.

This has everyone freaking out. It takes me back to the Endgame trailer. Seeing Jenn geeking out and just saying ,"can we watch it again?". Now she gets it.

When he says “I can’t stop them”, I’m wondering if he’s talking about the Kang variants.

So with Doc Ock, we see him appear at the bridge, thinks he’s fighting Peter when he realizes he isn’t. The scene where it shows Doc absorbing Peter's nano suit later on in the trailer is in fact the same bridge battle. When you see Doc locked up in that cell, notice his tentacles are red. I believe the nano suit allowed Octavius to retake control over the tentacles. He then seems to be on Peters side later on because: A. The scene where Electro blasts the building, it looks as though he was attacking Dr Octavius. That leads me to believe he’s fighting against Sinister Six but I could be wrong. B. If we go back to Spider Man 2, Ock regained control and wasn’t against Peter in the end. That aligns with the timeline lapping straight into this one following on from the end of Spider Man 2. Within that timeline, Doc emerged into the MCU before he regained control over himself. As for Sandman, I believe he is from an earlier part of the timeline in Spider-Man 3. At the end of that film Peter forgave Sandman, so him emerging into MCU as a villain would explain he arrived from the timeline earlier. Now Ock refers to the guys as ghosts which tells me that they are indeed dead in their respective timeline. However, the multiverse allows them to exist in the MCU and each of them died respectively fighting their Spider-Man in their timeline. Strange tells Peter that’s what happens and why they either need to be sent back to their timeline or killed again (because it’s fate). Peter feels responsible and doesn’t want anyone to die which is why he asks Strange if there is another way. I think there’s 2 Green Goblins as well, there’s Norman Osborn and Harry Osborn. That scene we get with the glider and no mask, notice all the green goblin bombs (referencing back to Spider-Man 3, where Harry tries to kill Peter before he hits his head and loses his memory). When MJ is falling from the scaffolding, I believe that’s been edited with Tom Holland. Should be when Andrew Garfield comes in and saves her instead because of what happened to Stacy. If you look closely when Peter is about to take on Sandman, Lizard and Electro, notice (especially with lizard) he isn’t going directly after Peter. Makes me think that at this stage, all 3 Spider-Men are there and are taking on 1 villain each but have just been edited out. Strange saying at the end they’re all coming through and I can’t stop it, that’s either to do with Andrew and Tobey coming through or the multiverse itself being unleashed. This could segue nicely into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness next year. As for Tom Hardy's Venom, I believe he is in this too but not sure how it would fit in with it all. A villain or a cameo because as we saw at the end credits for Venom 2, they are now in this universe also.

Holden, if u look at the scene where Lizard jumps, he's no where near Tom Holland. That's why I think Andrew there, but they secretly edited them out. It just looked off how Lizard jumped, and also I think Tobey's somewhere at the top. Kinda smart from Sony ngl.

Did you notice in one of the shots of Doc Ock, one of his tentacles starts getting an iron man-type armor wrapped around it? That looked awesome.

This the most ambitious movie marvel has done. This is 20 years in the making every live action Spiderman, and the villains from their story arc. Putting them in a spider verse movie. Something I thought we would never see. This is the biggest hit of 2021 this is how you end the year

I don't know if anyone noticed it, but people rumored that Doc Oc uses Stark Tech and he does, but he somehow he absorbs it in one of the scenes in the trailer under the bridge. That's why in the fight scenes in the Statue of Liberty, Tom Holland uses the Iron Spider suit with the mask of the original suit if that makes sense. Through the trailer when the Doc Oc absorbs the nanotech, I think he regains control and that's why he is nicer in a way later on in the sanctum scenes.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the armored suit was, that it could be a nod to the alternate reality version of Spider-man from the Spider-wars Saga in the 90's cartoon. They look quite similar and we're already doing all the alternate reality stuff

That shot of the Goblin flying toward us on the flyer at 10:30 you can make out whoever that is, they’re unmasked at that moment. I wonder if that could be Franco or Dahain(I know the spelling is wrong) since those were the two Goblins who were maskless? Or it could be Dafoe as well but definitely the headpiece is off.

That last scene looks like they're in a different universe. They're on a Statue of Liberty, maybe, that not only is holding a torch but a shield too. Plus the statue hasn't or at least at the moment isn't green from oxidizing and still looks conpletely fresh brass. I think they're in an alternate universe New York City in that scene. Also the purple cuts in the sky when Strange says they're coming through looks like the purple dot stuff of the dimension portals in Into the Spider-verse.

Oh and the black suit is just his suit inside out. They showed it briefly in one of the previous movies, you can see exposed wiring in the scene where he's center frame up close and electro is in the distance. I think they did something similar in the comics when he faced Electro

Spiderman 3 was the first movie I ever saw in a theater. Seeing this trailer now, with Tobey Maguire enemies returning with a chance of the man himself returning as well, I'm so hyped to see this in a theater.
