I wish we had more of a team up between Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the second game. The opening sequence of Miles Morales has to be one of my favourite opening sequences to a video game
Miles morales has better graphics but the story makes no sense like what and marvel spiderman original has like graphics of 2018 which makes it respectable and also the story makes a lot of sense
@@Fredericchopin69420 I get that, the story was a little bit confusing to me from time to time. I think they are both really great games though, and the best Spider-Man games we've gotten in a really long time.
I mean they prob hearing all feedback from both games. They went from adding miles and MJ missions and just being stealthy to completely removing it in miles morales and only controlling miles/spidey. Also before the game launched they made it clear this game will be shorter than Spider-Man ps4. Also imo I like how any side objectives that were completed in the city were just activity tokens rather than multiple tokens you need to gain in SPM ps4. Also small details like having damaged suits when actually taking damage is a nice detail and adding mission select so I don’t gotta manually save throughout playing the story in SPM ps4 just to play a certain mission is nice. Then ofc the web swinging/traversal is so much more enjoyable in Miles ps5 compared to SPM ps4. But insomniac have shown in the past they do listen to their community and I have no doubt they will look at all the positives and negative’s and make the best Spider-Man game possible for the ps5!! Can’t wait.
Spiderman remastered was better, but not as good as batman arkham and also remastered not all building textures load in the distance, pretty annoying. I thought the game would be better to be honest
@@JohnnyJailBait Not only are you lying, but also Marvel's spiderman is arguebly better than batman arkham games. especially arkham knight and don't start pretending that people weren't underhwhelmed by the third installment because it was not as good as people anticipated. It has a lot of tropes where almost every character batman knows gets kidnapped for whatever reason because batman was not around, all the batmobile and tank boss fights are garbage, there are only couple boss fights in the game and they are garbage as well. Even though overall arkham knight is still a decent game.
I notice in their wall running, due to Peter being experienced and seasoned for a long time, when he web zips up, its smooth while Miles is shaky while web zipping up due to being new and not yet fully experienced.
Every time Peter does that forward somersault roll, I am reminded of that infamous comic book panel where Peter bounces off the brick wall man in the exact same pose while thinking "That smarts!"
Miles Morales is also much better in terms of interface, menus, etc. It also has better dubbing into other languages. The color palette, etc. The game feels more polished and fluid than Spider-Man, and this one already was. Both are a 10.
Great comparison video, I thought the swinging in Spiderman was excellent, but after playing Morales, its just so much better. Watching the swinging comparison section, it looks like Pete was swinging so much slower than Miles. Verrry interesting.
@@krvclashers4367 side quests were very repetitive all they did was put a bunch of different collectibles around the map that no one wanted to do. The story was definitely better tho
@@jyprivs in the original game (ps4) it marks that time, sorry, I saw that it said that they were the same hours but I didn't notice that they were different
Overall Spider-Man Remastered looks better than Miles imo. Miles has some classic Spiderman poses Remastered don't seem to have. Morales can also web attack from wall and ceilings but that seems all it's really got to offer and seems a bit OTT overall. the one thing that would make they both very true to character is Spiderman getting hurt both seem to be missing or not have much Spiderman getting hurt. although he is a superhero and can take a lot of punishment Spiderman still gets beaten up real badly and can often be seen limping away bruised n bashed up. that is what makes Spiderman he still retains that humanity and that makes up so much of Spiderman's character and personality. I think I'll buy the remastered Spiderman it seems a lot more true to the original Spiderman character well as close as it can be without actually being true to character. those new outfits are a gross miss representation, tbh I hate these new suits they look awful, original is best. Great vid thanks 👍
Spiderman is like having a very lively city .. and he is using his moves to the best... Trying to be least brutal in some finishers.. while miles Morales has icy scapes.. not as lively as Spiderman. Is it just me or is miles' finishers little more brutal than Spiderman? Like that car catching scene.. but overall both games are op.. hope the Spiderman 2 is gonna come out with all 3 Peter, Miles and Venom
That's one thing I did notice for sure. Miles is pretty hardcore with his finishers and takedowns. I personally like Miles more as a character and as a game but there's some finishers that leave me like "yeahhhhh that guy's totally dead" 🤣
A lot of this stuff has nothing to do with miles having more skill and talent, it's the game developers learning from their mistakes. As an example, air tricks. Miles' air tricks look better because the game developers have some experience now. I'm hoping the things that miles does better will be evened out in spiderman 2
one thing i always found odd in spider man was that when he is hanging from the ceiling, his feet isn't holding on to the web like how it is in the shows and comics.
I'm not talking about if you can hang from the ceiling or not.....I'm speaking on the fact when he does hang from the ceiling in the game his feet aren't holding on to the webbing as they do from the show and the comics. He just have the clamped together, but they're not holding the web. I think even in miles morales when he is hanging he does holds the web.
My guess is that when they give Peter the new set of tricks in the game we’ll see Miles teaching him. Or similar to how they taught Miles some skills with training lessons maybe Peter will pick up new air tricks with each lesson.
Coming from someone who's never played either game (but is thinking about getting remastered on steam deck), I gotta say...Miles Morales looks more appealing graphically and seems quite a bit more fast-paced. Not to mention those air tricks holy...
@@tanishqsbasak475 no on red dead redemption, or tomb raider, or ac valhalla, the snow in this game was just done badly, I'm playing now on the ps4 and looks like broken or missing textures all over the place
They need to up the difficulty for stealth also make it useful. In Miles it was kind of useful, but it was OP so it was too easy and took away from it. With Peter it was just too unnecessary, like once you took down the first round with stealth it was all guns blazing, you can't hide like with Miles.
First of all amazing video, must have taken a lot of time. Secondly I am eagerly waiting for sequel to Spiderman game, with Avengers tower and Sanctum of Dr. STRANGE a new Marvel game can be expected ?
I played Miles Morales and glad I got it for free with PS plus I believe. Good game but nothing more than a $60 DLC. Plus Miles voice is annoying and the main antagonize is probably one of the worst I've ever seen
Miles will always win Peter because his bio- electricity is insanely powerful, he could even take down rhino with ease while Peter got knocked of away by rhino
I heard that Sipder-Man Miles Morales coming to PC in December 2022 but I'm not sure about the date. I played original Spider-Man on the PS4 it was good and finished it but I'm not sure if I should get it on PC or not..... Or I can just wait until Miles Morales comes out in December seems I haven't played it before.
you can't reach enough N's of force from falling down because of air resistance but when it comes to trains they are built so that there is minimum air resistance. And add the mass of the train with its velocity and it can create massive amount of force.
Fr 😂 we know it a kid we just saying the first one is better Idk what y’all saying trick that’s cool but looking realistic the first one the kids show and the game is too much cartoonish
Doesn't look like PC version of remaster had all setting to MAX in these comparisons to Miles version. I own both these games and remaster looks way better on my rtx 3090 at max. Did not notice any ray tracing or reflections on remastered version etc in this test. Not exactly a fair comparison but thanks for the hard work on this and the content!
In terms of gameplay, web swinging, air tricks, combat, graphics, and environment, Miles Morales is better, but in terms of story, characters, boss fights, side missions, and gadgets, Spider-Man Remastered is better.
@Pranavu Surendran it’s comes down to preference. If xYou’re one of those people who play the game in-depth.. past the surface.. it’s hard going back to the original.. almost inferior.
I was done after the first 2 comparisons. Example 1: the presenter allowed miles to fall on his back. Had he/she done the exact same buttons miles would’ve landed on his fist like Peter Example 2: Miles has way better tricks and if done right is very smooth and not choppy as shown. Either they didn’t know how to swing and trick well or they didn’t want it to seem like a big difference. Why go out your way to be biased when all the videos of people playing these games can RU-vid can expose you? Delete and try again.
Sad and Lame . . . Calling it a New Game. Most would not enjoy it much unless they adore snow. Most of the things Miles has going could be covered with a simple Mod on PC. Its a shame they call it a New GAME instead of a DLC Expansion. It has way less content from those old DLCs that used to come with OLD games. For example, Outlast Whistleblower Expansion or DLC was way more intriguing and had something going. Instead of total copy and paste. Not to mention they did not release it as a New Game. Because they knew even if that being totally different environment and direction. It was still not worth calling a new game. Especially, when its a prequel or sequel using resources from the old game
One thing y'all need to know is that miles super jump is far weaker and on friendly neighborhood difficulty peter one shots enemies or one combo string while miles games far more effort
Sony really should have put more effort into details and combat. Compared to Batman Arkham series the combat of these games are simply cheap, dull and boring. The sheer amount of counter moves Batman games had put the series leagues above Spider-Man games.
I agree they need more animation but spider-man is not an expert combatant like batman. He did not study martial arts he's just agile and flexible while batman studied every martial arts out there and mastered it. So it makes sense that batman has more perfected moves and counters than spider-man. Dude's a bone-crushing martial artist.
Wait Spider Man Remastered just released for Steam. What's miles morales? Is this included in the remaster or coming out for PS5? I've heard of M.M but I thought that was someone else in the game or another spider man for the story but it looks like two separate games.
@@imJUSTdusty1 Right I thought they only made one game. Never knew they made a second one. Does it continue from first or is it its own stand alone game?
I hate miles Morales it's just the same game as previous one they just switched the main character from Peter to miles new cutscenes added snow all over city and called it a new game correct me if i am wrong
No need to correct you. That's what they did. Most would not enjoy it much unless they adore snow. Most of the things Miles has going could be covered with simple Mod on PC. Its a shame they call it a New Game instead of DLC Expansion
