I lived on Bedford between Sawyer St. and Guthrie Ave. It was funny because when I used to work at Montgomery Ward, Joe would cash my checks without ID, but when I would buy beer, he had the nerve to card me for ID. Lmao!, Joe knew me since I was kid! Used to go to his store every morning on the way to school, and after school when I attended Shenandoah Elementary. Miss those days.

Lmao, yeah, 2049 Bedford was right there pretty much off the corner of the alley, and yes, everybody just walked up the alley and crossed the light right there on Cadillac and Shenandoah to go to Joe's market, and I'm a lil upset I didn't go to Al's sandwich shop more often. Smh, I was too busy eating them super nachos from Campos' Tacos across the street from Taco Bell lmao, but Al's was the bomb though. I see I'm not the only one who remember's Millers Outpost on Pico and Robertson lol. That was my store. I used to get my Levi's 501's out of there, which made more sense instead of going all the way to the Midtown Swap meet, which I went to anyway lol, but yeah, Miller's Outpost was my store. I used to get some nice outfits out of there. Good times.
