They tend to to have thicker front legs and hairy bodies. They even have a different movements it’s hard to explain but if you ever seen a jumping spider you likely know what I mean.
I've done a lot of research on spiders. In the hopes that having a better understanding would make them less frightening. I would say it worked, theyre still a bunch of eight-legged freaks tho 😅
I fw jumping spiders tuff and that says a lot because I despise spiders. They are actually one of the most intelligent spider species and are very curious about humans, they like to observe us and are pretty docile towards us. It’s the only spider I’ve willingly kept and held in my hands before

I think it’s the fact that the way they need to get around, kill prey, and overall in general have a way different life style compared to most other spiders. Most other spiders have a pretty brain dead instinctual strategy to go about living their life but jumping spiders legit have to get around by observing their entire environment and locking in at one position at a time. @@TawnyTez I do not exaggerate when I say that spiders are lower maintenance than any other pet. You just need an enclosure half filled with dirt, something for them to hide under, a water dish, and feed them meal worms once a week, job done no heat source necessary. Scorpions I think are similar although some do require heat like reptiles. They're easier to look after than fish
Jumping spiders are awesome, they're the only ones I think are cute and they're just little guys, shockingly smart and they each have their own personalities and quirks
@@camfreed9829 I mean they can bathe in soap, the only reason it would kill them is because they breathe through holes all over their bodies, the soap can cover those holes and suffocate them that's why it can kill them. It'd be like if I poured soap down your throat and nostrils, the soap isn't really killing you it's the lack of oxygen
@@TawnyTez most of them u can just leave em alone but we do get venemous ones that probs best to get professionals to get em but they are rare most u can just get a cup and paper and chuck em outside
