It's not hard to see how and from where Monty Python got most of their ideas and material - and now that same crew accuses others of "nicking" their stuff.
Spike was sillier and somehow funnier than Monty Python. I am the biggest fan of Monty Python, but Spike Milligan is the funniest man to ever walk the earth...
@@FikretErdeniz Yes, agreed. Even Spike himself said that they had "nicked" his material. Some of their songs too: e.g. the music for the "Lumberjack Song" was more or a less a lift of an early 1950s song called the "The Gandy Dancer's Ball". A lot of their own stuff was just boring and repetitive, and even John Cleese got fed up with it and left before the series finally ended. I do like the Pythons and most of their work, and see nothing too wrong about developing, adapting or using some earlier material, but what I do not like is hypocrisy.
@@nirmalsuki not as funny as my uncle Mildred , he had one leg shorter than the other one. See how I said one, he only had two, unlike uncle tripodoes who had , well I'm sure you can work it out. Mildred was wonderful on roads with raised paving, or sloops in Austria, providing his party were all going in the same direction , usually off piest , singing the happy wonderer, tral,la, la , or is that mocking bird hill , Mildred could never work out which was which . The Scottish are a highly intelligent race of people famed for their Innovative contributions to all aspects of Modern living including , Medicine , Information technology , Travel , Transport , the Sciences , Space technology ..the list is endless . Their Products are famous all over the World and contribute more to the British Economy and the upkeep of the English than all the other Nations put together , victims of theft of resources since 1706 , they are highly resilient and will no doubt be an Independent Nation again soon ...PS , they can also spell Scottish ..
