Let's get ready to hit the creek! Tying your own plunking rigs is simple, fun and even more rewarding when you hook into the big one. From bait loops on your hooks to building a Spin-n-Glo set up, we make it easy to follow along in this video. Grab a couple of your favorite beverages, some line, a pack of hooks and join in.
Here is a list of what you will need to build your own plunking rigs.

If you have extra eggs what’s the beat way to store them?

I prefer to store them in a mason jar and seal them at the end of the season. You can seal them with a vacuum machine attachment or you can use a birthday candle or wooden match. Simply light the candle or wooden match while it is in the jar with the eggs. Next, screw on the lid while pressing down the center of the lid. The flame will go out and you will have a airtight seal on the jar. I do not like to freeze my eggs. Individuals will vacuum seal in them bags and store them. The biggest thing to remember is to get the air out of whatever you are using to store your eggs in. Air is the enemy when it comes to storing your eggs. Hope this helps. Whats the benefit of using a double hook set up vs just a single? Does the first hook end up down their throat as they attempt to get the bait?

If the hooks are tied close together then you have a great opportunity to the fish swallow both hooks deep down in their throats. You can land fish and achieve the same using only a single hook. I say it often comes down to user preference. As long as you are out casting a line and enjoying your time outdoors, thats what really matters.

Thats correct. As long as you do not over tighten your bait loop the egg cluster will stay intact and hold for awhile. I always recommend you check your eggs every 20 mins or so.

Would have been nice to have this explained to us when we actually came into your shop. Me and a buddy came down from the base recently after shift (I was in uniform, my buddy had already changed) and upon inquiring as to what you'd recommend and how to set up, we could barely get 2 words out of you. You were short with us and a completely different person than who you portray in this video. "They're biting everything" and " bait isn't necessary" were what you told us. Needless to say we ended up figuring it out ourselves. I don't care what your videos show - in person you had a poor attitude and poor customer service.

Diesel Viking That’s the worst, really makes you not wanna ever come back. And gives the shop a shitty reputation. He seems like he’d be a decent guy and wanna help you in person.. I like showing people how to rig, makes it way more exciting seeing them catch fish with your knowledge. but I get that vibe, lotta people are fake homie

That’s funny you say this. I watched a stream of his. He was stoked on the steam. Super nice! When I got to talk to him in person I got the same vibe! Like; Meh! Why you talking to me. I’m going to try again and give this guy another shot this week see what happens. Everyone has bad days, everyone’s patience runs out at some point. His videos and streams have helped me a lot, I can give him that.
