Spina Bifida Awareness. It isn't always great but it gives me amazing opportunities with extraordinary people.
October is Spina Bifida Awareness month. Boy have I already had an adventure with a high level kidney infection. I've been battling this since June and started having issues last September. I have been going through tests since August, medication changes and will be having more test to come.
One thing Spina Bifida didn't realize, is the fact it has made a path for me to meet people from around the world who support and encourage me.
Take that Spina Bifida!!!!
Thank you to the Arnold Palmer hospital staff for taking such good care of me and bringing me back to health. I found out from Dr Michel the doctors at Arnold Palmer are using me as a case study. This is not the 1st time they've used me as a case study, since I also have a very complex Orthopedic condition.
