he's aware of it! in fact he has his own channel on youtube where he's uploaded videos of him reading and some other stuff that's a bit older. just search for dr james gill and it should come up
You know, as great as the ASMR is, the fact that I've gained even trivia level knowledge about medicine just from this kind of video is my favourite part. I find myself grinning when I have to do this during a check up knowing why I have to.
Hoping to build it up. We’ll see how well it goes. Ultimately it’s about helping people, whether it’s via education, or just listening to an audio book
I'm 33 years old. I've lived in England my entire life. I was born here, and I've never heard a more English Englishman. I feel compelled to make a cup of tea and hum 'Rule Britannia' whilst I strain the tea bag.
this is fantastically relaxing (and professional) Dr. Gill. Your reading was good, but the addition of both the natural sounds of your movements here and graceful pleasantries of your bed side manner really make this some of the best unintentional ASMR I've ever seen. Best of luck with the channel growth. *PS I would put "Unintentional ASMR" in the title and description if you're interested in reaching that audience*
Respectfully, I'd love to get this examination. A bit of pressing muscles on the back and this lovely voice, with a lot of "terrific", "superb" and "thank you".
I wish my doctor had gone through this exam with me the other day instead of just doing one or two of these steps lol just got diagnosed with manyyy spinal issues after seeing her based on my MRI and it would’ve helped more if she had gone through this assessment. Thanks for sharing!!
After watching some of his videos on the other channel I had the best night sleep in ages. I can’t believe he have his own channel. I know what I‘lo be watching tonight to sleep like a baby again.
I´ve had back pain since 1996, seen several doctors and moved between several cities and never had an exam like this, most I´ve got is a shortened version
Hello dr Gill, for the reflexes, out of curiosity, when you asked the patient if they were right or left handed, they said "right" and you began with the right side, any reason for that? Merci.
Hello, dr. Gill! I suffer from Bertolotti's Syndrome, Type II, sacralization. I know this condition is still very uncommon (10%of the population), therefore, very little information it can be found or doctors to treat patients. I, myself, couldn't yet find one... Is there any chance that you could make a video to explain this anomaly and what can be done, in order to manage the pain easier, or the surgeries that can be performed? Thank you in advance. I really hope you will see my comment.
