In this episode of The Average Joe Fisherman, I am doing something that I normally do not do... Summertime trout fishing in Michigan! Why? Because normally the summertime is too hot for trout fishing. Taking Trout out of the water on hot summer day can stress the fish and ultimately cause it to die. But, today is not a typical summer day in Michigan. In fact, it's downright cool outside. So that means it's time for a little summertime trout fishing!
Fishing for Trout in the summer with spinners can be difficult. The trout, especially the big ones, are often only feeding after dark. That does not mean that summertime trout fishing with spinners is not worth your time. On the contrary, on most days it only takes one really big Brown to make the day. And today that's exactly what I am looking for... one really big Brown.
If you are a regular viewer of this channel, you know that there is nothing I prefer more than spinner fishing for big Brown Trout! Did I catch that one fish today? You bet I did! Proving once again that there's no better time to go spinner fishing for trout in Michigan than any time you can get away.
Thank you for watching.
