Brilliant video thanks Brother Billy! Nice Pollock, great Coalfish, Mackerel & Gurnard too! Fabulous footage of your new friend Mr Mink as well - he made me chuckle with his antics to steal your fish! Keep 'em coming - stay safe & well! 👍👍
just found your channel bill. your videos are class. im from NE scotland so your fishing over the water from me. but the fishing with you is 100x better than here haha,
@@Billyfishing_watch haha north sea is a funny spot for the winter its very shallow close in where I live. so it clears out almost entirely of fish - get the odd cod and even they are like hens teeth. I have to head west for my fix. If your ever in NE scotland holla at me ill take you out on the boat
Hi There, he was a little devil ,that lad . He made me laugh too, very Cheeky. I have video of an otter and a stoat to , and they will come right up you, it's crazy, fish on buddy 👍😁
Well Billy a Mink you wouldnt get that down on bull island , class fishing again love watching you ,ps Dollymount strand . up the Dubs and ps me and the Dad use to get king rag just outside clontarf yactht club but that was early 80s aall gone now, regards Pat
Hi Pat. I use to dig them there myself, back in the 90's. But like you said there all gone now! Portmarnock still has some big ones. Thanks Brother, see you on the north strand😁👌
Looks like you had a fantastic day there Billy what with the monster coley and the cheeky mink, both of them put up a hell of a fight but the mink had a better outcome. Thanks for sharing your day, I'm looking forward to the next one. Stay well. 👍
Billy Remember as kids coley was cheap fish .mother use to buy and boil up for cats . Humans didnt eat it. Anyway thats another story .popular now to eat .yours was a bute. Well done chap.and for sponsoring the natives 👍👍👍
Hi Terry, I will try not fall in be for I get my hands on one, you see the problem is , what one do I get, the one that goes off when it gets wet is no good for what I do , and the manual one ,if I hit my head will I be able to set it off? thanks Brother 👍🤔
Nice one again Billy... And I see you're using what I think is a screwdriver as part of the ikijime tool's setup, so that's the same setup I'm thinking of using.... Tight line's brother Billy 🎣🎣🎣 and fish on.
Hi Robert, no it's not a screwdriver, it's a 5mm, 316 stainless steel rod, and I heat up the end and push it into the handle of a file.you can get the steel from a hobby shop, thanks brother 😁👍
Lovely coalie there Billy, I was thinking you might put the camera on the mink again like the last video I watched where the camera went down a hole. I've seen them on the Blackwater and one in Western Highlands munching on a huge lamprey. 👍
That was a monster of a coaly, good thing about fishing gets you out in nature . Great video enjoyed that a lot , thanks for sharing . Oh and I learnt something I always bleed my fish out and gut them on the shore ..saves the mess in the kitchen , but after your information I will gut them at home ...cheers
I've been bingeing your vids and I think this is the first one where the are people in the background. I was beginning to think Norwegians never ventured outside.
Hi junky, I have seen what you cought up in Bodo, so I am not doing so good, are they fat and lazy like cod when there up in the 20 and 30lbs. Thanks Brother 👍😁
@Billyfishing ok bro thx,i never catch cod till now,and i m on Sweden i want to catch more species. I m afraid for hangers not to lose a lot lures 🤦♂️
Great vid again, never saw the wire trick before, was wondering what it was for until you threw back in the water, then I understood. Cheeky monkey alright, guess he got payed for he's persistent 😂
@@Billyfishing_watch hi Billy, he sure was a brazen little mink. A few years ago I was fishing in Norway at a place called Stryn I had caught a good sized pollock, killed and gutted the fish. I then moved a little further away from that position and a short time later a large Otter came and ate what I had left, it was a brilliant moment for me at about 11.30 pm on a summer’s night, an unforgettable moment. Tight lines 🎣
Hi Sean , right now I'm in Norway, but if what you are asking is here but I fish normally, the answer is Europe mostly, as you wil see in my vids, thanks Brother 👍😁
@@Billyfishing_watch aww ok I thought maybe you where just pissed on Guinness with that first reply 🤣🤣 very good nice videos . Ever pasting through stavanger direction give me a shout for a fishing session
@@Billyfishing_watch you said you were using fluro which seems pointless and expensive for fish that are certainly not line shy ,added to which fluro is not the strongest of lines
Ok, first of all I get the fluor cheap second I used it for abrasion resistance, it's a rubbing leader. Also I don't fish the same mark more than four or five times and I never really know what to expect 👍😊
Hi Jon, as that was actually a weasel, but they do have mink as well, not sure if they are indigenous to Norway. I called it mink because, nothing rhymes with weasel.thanks brother 👍😁👌
