You can find Gaz in most maps so it can be free :) Once i was passenger in Gaz -66 at off-roading. It is real beast there. Seems, self-locking differentials are really helpful.
my grandpa, wich is dead, had a gaz-66 and it was an amazing truck, and in real life, the hummer would not stand a chance, a humvee can carry 1000-1100 kg max while off roading, the gaz, carrying 4000kg off roads like a dream, the only problems with those are the fuel economy, too bad it's been sitting for 3 years now without any activity.. plus, ingame, the gaz is a always locked diff truck, so playing hardcore with the gaz it's way more better
Thanks for your videos!!! I think that Hummer H1 is the best scout vehicle, but i loved b-66 since Spintires. If only B-66 could load lumber point, or a cicstern of 900 L...
I know the comment is old, but damn straight the b-66 is only useful as a support vehicle, and even that is trumped by its inability to carry a fuel cistern. It would be best if it could carry similar addons as the b-131, minus the lumber if they want to balance it that way but i dont know why they would nerf the b-66 that way.
No offense but a 16 year old with a drivers license can drive a Hummer every day and if your trying to convince someone that some obscure Russian cabover is better than a HUMMER, your just not being realistic. The hummer has full coil fully independent suspension with portal axles while the Gaz is on leaf springs with solid front and rear axles. The main deterning factor here is the tires, the Hummer was on effectively a highway tire and you guys think despite it being a little slower due to traction in the mud that the Gaz is better. Those paddle pattern tires on the Gaz would wear out in a week on any surface that transitioned from hard to soft to pavement. Sorry for anyone with common mechanical sense the Hummer is the clear and true winner even though it's being compared to a massive commercial truck.
@@SD1ONE I admire Russian engineering and some of my favorite fighter jets are Russian, I like Russian tanks and their general philosophy of, "Whatever it takes". I personally believe that rather than foster conflict, we should acknowledge that each country has different methods to everything. Neither method is better, one isn't necessarily more effective than the other. My experience has been that Russians hate us for nothing and I've been targeted in Russian made games simply for being an American and team killed or insulted. What I'm trying to say is that I didn't mean to insult you, I just assumed you had some kind of grudge against us because that has been my overall experience.
@@SD1ONE and I think bison is better competitor! I can't get A469 vs Chevy bison out of my head... the point of this battle is, is chevy bisons semitruck power more powerful than the jeeps power, awd, and diff lock? Can the Chevy beat the jeep because it has semitruck power? All semi trucks are diesel engines and jeeps... have gas engines. Also, I know when I asked for this before you said "I'll consider it, but these two have different purposes" (I don't know if that was quote for quote) yes I know they do! But that would be funny if you did this. So plz do this!😀
I play offroad games since I was a kid and I saw as well in real life... I think the winner is the Gaz 66 because it's heavier, bigger and harder to maneuver, it can carry with no doubt more weight but it can goes everywhere; Hummer H1 is a beast as well but old Russian steel is hard to beat💪😎
Znowugram the gaz was used in the Soviet military basically all the Russian trucks in the game were used in the soviet army except the B 130 and the tractor
Hahaha, you really don't know how our military operates in the US, our crap is 10,000 parts in a tight formation built by the lowest bidder. The Hummer H1 Alpha, being a civilian vehicle, had to be built with better parts. That's why they opted for the Duramax Diesel and Allison transmission.
GAZ 66 nicknamed goat-the best small truck of the USSR. He traveled in the mud as hell, and cheaper than foreign analogues, and repaires by kicking and swearing.
Just a friendly reminder since I’m pretty sure you’re bilingual- if you refer to someone’s name or identity like when you said, “I underestimated you kid” you would put a comma in front of “you” Like “I underestimated you, Kid.” Also when you said, “But it hadn’t met it match till now” you would say “But it hasn’t met its match until now.” If you use “till” that means how long it will be or take, like 1 hour till midnight. You would use “until” in a situation where you are describing how long it will LAST or a certain moment like “It will run until it blows the engine.” Apart from that your vocabulary is AMAZING and I love your videos!! By the way, you can use an app called Duolingo to help you learn about grammar and correct punctuation. I’m learning German and I love it!! I love you too! (No homo btw)
B66 can be considered more versatile since it has small body and big ground clearance for scouting, with capability of carrying useful amount of gas for refueling, plus garage point. More, it has fixed difflock. B66 is perfect.
I think in MR, scout vehicle is 4x4, tiny body, light weight, and recallable. So in my games, trucks go on road , recall scout vehicle, then make way through jungle straightly to watch point use their light weight and tiny body advantage. Gaz 66 is still a truck, it can be a scout vehicle only when you don't have scout vehicle available.
GAZ 66 nicknamed goat (or shishiga) - the best small truck of the USSR time. He traveled in the mud as hell, and cheaper than foreign analogues, and repaires by kicking and swearing.
The 66 is a bigger truck than the hummer, so expect it to be stronger in different areas. A unimog is more of a direct comparison than the hummer for sure. Both are a heck of a lot of fun to drive, though. I like just playing around with a bare chassis 66 when I can find one. Sunday Drive Two will show you areas where each truck will outperform the the other.
Yeah but it's not suited to that roll due to big tire's heavy truck & burn's .....well not a lot but more fuel then other's Also none of these can carry big trailer's nor crane's
I don't know what to say..... but i think that was unfair.... why? Hummer is a car. But a truck. B-66 have the advatege with tires. And btw good job with the youtobe.
I thin gaz is better, because i used him a lot in the map "river cross" to scout and unlock all the trucks in the map, and for recue and he is worth 2 points, defenitely the winner here.
I actually used to use B-66 as my go-to scouting vehicle when Mudrunner first released. The recall ability of the scout vehicles isn't super handy unless you leave a vehicle at the garage to recall to. That being said, the Hummer is a damn good scout. As it should be, being the closest thing to a military vehicle American Wilds has.
It's a hard choice while the eastern block has made some amazing stuff this truck included. The H1 and humvee are amazing vehicles that still are in service and are being improved alot. The current service model humvee has armour, all wheel, diflock and can change the hight of the wheels to make climing easier. I gotta go with the H1 in this case.
American technology has always been and will be the best. The problem of Russian cars in their low quality. You will never find two similar Urals or Uaz, because they are assembled by low-qualified drunk workers somewhere in the taiga. I know what I'm talking about, since here in Ukraine, we have both American and Soviet / Russian equipment in service. American technology is much better.
In my opinion; no contest. You have a dedicated scouting vehicle that costs 1 star and can be recalled, but capable of bringing emergency light refueling and repairs. Then you have a light truck that costs maybe two stars, can carry logs, fuel, repair&garage points. While yes, the Hummer is still the best SCOUT, it still doesn't quite hold up to a dedicated truck COMPLETELY. Still, it's good for 1-star hardcore challenges and gathering up the locked trucks that've been spawned in the map, and clearing the watchpoints, so it gets a little more mileage out of that...
Excellent work! I would like to see something bit different. Suggestion for these kind of vehicles to be in action while recovering trucks. Hummer Is heavy to be a car and could winch out even C-255 flipped onto it`s side in some cases. Would that be possible? Please let me know, thank you.
I think I underestimated Gaz-66. I looked at loads, and immediately gave up on it. The road speed was a bit poor, and the fuel consumption was bad. But this truck is pretty good for off road duties. I think I will give the Gaz-66 a second chance.
Dude i notice you do sometimes put some attachments on and usually it's unfair because way too often the addons are completely different and like when you compared American truck with c-255 you had a tanker on it but the thing is that the fuel tankers are completely different in looks and might affect the results. Could ya please when testing either have the exact same addons or trailers or have nothing installed
#LateNoficationSquad NOTIFICATION SQUAD WHERE YA AT o in the COMMETS kk Other wise nice review of both trucks suggestion-Hey bro make a vid about Like a mod vs mod ok thanks Random
1997 Toyota Supra The GM 6.5 TD is literally one of the worst motors ever made. There is a reason you don’t see 6.5s anymore on the road like 12v Cummins or 7.3 Power-strokes lol
I for GAZ, I went on it in reality and I will tell without patriotism - the hammer would have no chance, but to compare them not really correctly. GAZ is more powerful, more reliable, not fastidious to fuel and more load-carrying. p.s. but, what Hammer having and no having GAZ - its comfort!) p.s.s. - little fact, GAZ 66 has a nickname - shishiga (Шишига in rus.) Shishiga in Russian folklore - evil spirits living in the swamp or at home.
Actually C-375 can be used also due to its small size and also its offroad and scouting abilities are good, btw: it looks super cool with the trailer hitch and spare wheel attached!
@@SD1ONE Hmm, but I've seen many people who use it for utility and scout reasons, so it must have some relation with scouting, its size is like B-66 anyways
