This improves throttle response a little crispier but most of all it’s for ethanol use as blue groove model sports stated and also it’s good for race fuel as well because ethanol is detrimental to the diaphragms inside the carburetor. Race is somewhat hard on the diaphragm as well so this prevents the issues that those propose..

That’s awesome brother 49. That’s great man as for the spiral ethanol is detrimental to the diaphragms. This prevents that issue. Also, the spiral diaphragm is good to be used with race fuels as well as they can damage the diaphragm sooner than not.. so this prevents issues with the diaphragms and it also improves throttle response a little bit, but it’s mostly just a battle with ethanol because ethanol is garbage. Hey jeff do you have any videos on like temps of a motor,like what they should be while running ect i have the Taylor 35 v2 piston Port and temps seem to be up after only running for 5 minutes tune seems to be ok so not sure im running 32:1 but yesterday she got close to 375 after a few laps i had a 22 pinion on it with 58 spur but went back to a 20 pinion a video would be great but lmk what u think jeff thanks bud 🤙
Where did you get that high of reading? Thats very excessive. If you take a temp at the plug you will see those temps because thats not engine temp that is combustion temperature. You need to take the temp at the base of the cylinder!

Hey brother First answer no sir they are not the same quality. The DBXL is just not as tough as the Losi 5T. Stick with the 5T in my opinion. 2nd. I like the Rovan Baja or the 30 degree north Losi 5T clone. Both of those are hands down the best and several hundred upgrades out there for both. And I have plenty of tech vids for any problems with the baja.
