Do you have predator/ prey wrap? As one who is new to these wraps, I really appreciate the step by step manner that you perform.

Do you have a video that shows how you take the tape off and get ready for epoxy?

Hey Fatty Fishin, I do not have a video on it, but I will make one soon. In the meantime, on the thread side of the tape, about a half inch away, or more if you like, start doing a regular wrap over your spiral wrap to lock it in place. Once you have enough thread wrapped over the spiral wrap, start cutting the ends of the spiral wrap where it meets the tape. Then use a razor blade or scissors to cut those lose ends further back towards the over wrap you are doing. Now that you just have short ends left, flatten them down with your burnishing tool, and continue your over wrap over them. Then cut the tape away from the blank. Does that make sense?

I’ve been trying this and the first thread becomes loose as I work. The more threads I put down the ones towards the beginning get loose. Am I pulling it too tightly?
