Unfortunately for you, they now actually teach good brass technique that doesn't ruin your chops for the rest of time and play on horns that actually sound good and have decent control.

Whenever I hear this (and it's my ringtone, so I hear it a lot sometimes), it just makes me want to spin and march with them so, so much. Trying out in two weeks. Hopefully it goes well!

Start soon if you really want to do DCI. It's hard work but it's an experience like no other, and don't tell yourself you can't do it. I'm 15 and I made callbacks for Music City on trumpet this season, but decided not to march this season.

Nice! I'm 17, and with a million other things going on, I need to get myself together with saxophone for college auditions in the fall. I don't even want to be in world class right now; I want to start with DCA Fusion Core. Open class Raiders is the dream right now, but it depends on where my skill in the future takes me.
