Quite the craft, to know how to build a boat with all the curves angles and such from wood. Not living by an ocean, but always wanted to learn to build sailboats. A lost craft, known by but a few. I couldn't carry a conversation around someone that builds boats like this. Lucky them, great escape 🤨 That hull must be like iron since you're supporting it while turning it with only one strap/harness.
Very nice video, can you please document the number of wood layers on the hull as well as their thickness. How thick is the Hull wall at the end. thank you
Nicholas Evangelisto well there is another method.I can't explain it correctly but now many sailboat brands use machines which make the mold directly.This woodwork you see takes 6-9 months of work depending on the crew while the machine can make the mold of this would example in about 3 months.It saves a lot of time possibly a year of work but it's expensive.
