Was right near those speakers, became unavoidable with all that bass! 🤘🤘 But it was crazy loud irl right in front of them too...so it's an immersive experience
Just for shits and giggles, I made this. Its not perfect, but its a nice compliment should they ever share a recording session together... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OZVFzQUC8S8.html
Most Vocalists (Excluding Will) need to have good body positioning to be consistent, Courtney more than likely is much more comfortable growling in the chill stance
Will Ramos is that kid that grew up listening to whatever was thrown at him and just embraced it, and is living out what music is truly all about, having fun and expressing yourself.
I was there the day the kid went from education first to metal/scene. Went to highschool together. He got his first gf who was a scene chick. She gave my boy the full makeover. But he always listened to metal. I miss the good ole days with the boys. Best wishes to you will. I see you and Tony still chill and that makes me happy.
I love how Courtney is just jamming the whole time lol and as much of a powerhouse Will is, audio quality aside, when she speaks you know it. And his “thank you” at the end, Wills just like a puppy dog excited to be there.

@@yungmeanmug hes the lead vocalist of Crystal Lake. When Spiritbox signed to Rise they did a version of holy roller featuring him. Id recommend listening if you haven't already. Its a total banger
God just the difference in technique on display here. Both equally audible, but Will is swallowing his mic, while Courtney is barely even singing into it yet you still hear her better than anything else. She's definitely got that classic metalcore "belted fry" if that's what you want to call it, and he's all about that hyper-technical, softer volume scream focused on technique and subtle changes. Good lord. I love it.
Knowing her earlier days with other bands and other influences from that era, points out what you just said; more projection. Unicron and IWABO had a pronounced hardcore style screaming with some deathcore elements in Hail Mary. Reminds me of Bryan Garris the most. However, great tones by both and both styles are great.
I love it when two amazingly talented artists get together and do cool shit just because they like each other and love making cool shit. It's that simple.
Damn. Two of the best vocalists of our generation. They need a real collab. I'm glad we got to hear her do a song with Sam Carter though, but I'm now patiently waiting for a Will Ramos feature in spirit boxs upcoming material or Courtney in a LS song
Yeah, Will has that traditional deathcore mic grip (probably the only area in which he doesn't innovate much) while Courtney holds it pretty far and low and has that weirdly stoic face while screaming.
It's absolutely insane nobody in Spiritbox saw this song being one of their best hits. Courtney literally said they just released it not expecting it to do as well as their other hits.
I didn't know at first it was their biggest hit, I just listen to it the first time hearing the album and what I remember its starting to headbang like crazy as soon as the song drops
