The first in a series of meditations to help you connect to your True Self.
You are a body of consciousness. Your physical body resides inside of you, your body of consciousness.
The limited self is the self most of us are aligned to. The limited self is the self most of us identify with, the person who lived here, when to this school, identifies as a spiritual person, a smart person, an athlete, an investment banker, a .... the story we believe we are based on our experiences and what we were taught about reality. In truth this is your limited self.
When we believe we are only the physical body we feel limited. The Truth is we are bodies of consciousness, we are eternal, ever present, unlimited, unaffected consciousness. Aligning to our True self opens up magic. Why? Because when we know we are the True Self the physical reality behaves differently for us.
How do you align to your True Self? By shifting your focus and learning the difference between these two states of being. They are states of being, or states of consciousness. Meaning who you know yourself as, am I just the limited human being or am I an eternal consciousness.
By shifting your focus from feeling yourself in your head area to feeling your spiritual heart and feeling expanded beyond the body, you begin to open up to the information around you. You begin to know yourself differently. By doing so you become more of yourself.
Your True Self is more of who you already are just without the fear. You shine your true light without resistance from you limited self.
