Here's a tip if you want hook on the back of the Thing 2 for plate carrier use: just cut the back flap off where the dangler is supposed to go. You lose zero functionality, but gain plate carrier application. The piece you cut off has loop on the inside - it can be reapplied to cover the hook when you don't need it.
Nice job. There's a pretty good write up on this over on the Reptile House blog on this, the Crye equivalent, and swapping the components back and forth that was pretty solid too if anybody wants some more info
the Spiritus GP is kind of a mystery to me. its an near Exact Copy of the Crye GP, costs more, comes with less and can do less The Crye Gp has belt loops for 1,5 inch belts and big warbelts. Also comes with an SSE bag and costs less. Prob a Quality difference too but who am i to tell. ( cool side feature of the Crye GPs Belt loops is that you can slide it on the ferro 3ac Cummerbund )
You can cut the back loop cove off to hook it to a plate carrier (ik it should come with a removable panel but if ur willing to cut it if that’s always a way to go)
@@TheScottishSpartan TAPS stands for “Tactical Assault Panel”. It’s what is issued to regular army. Can be used as a chest rig or clipped into an IOTV like a placard. It’s not bad considering what we had before but with all the “Gucci gear” on the market today it is useless.
I’d like to see how u set this up I have the same one but I’m not sure how I wanna set it up I seen people use the small gp pouches I’m not sure what I’d put in them lol maybe skittles and sour patch kids lol
