Having a stage purely based off of octo expansion with the statue lazers remains in the background as fly octo fly plays is so badass

Ah, the final splatoon 2 major splatfest. I remember back in the old days of splatoon 1, Callie vs Marie got my blood flowing. I grinded nonstop for team Marie and managed to pull it off! I was extremely happy and proud, and for this splatfest when I sent my octoling into battle, I tried my hardest to bring order to inkopolis. Sadly, we were overrun by all of those wild children on chaos... But in splatoon 3, I'll make sure that the team I vote for wins!

If splatoon 3 wants a legacy, it’s gonna have to top this absolute beast of a splatfest. All the stuff they threw in, from the small details like music, to basically the entire existence of MC.princess diaries. I was there each day, and while I certainly wasn’t good at the time (still am not), I was having fun fighting in the final fest of all. If you missed this, you missed *the* moment in splatoon 2 history.

This stage was so cool, and the metallic looking ink is just beautiful. See you all in Splatoon 3, let's hope we get a final fest that's just as cool as this one. I hope we get something like shifty station in the full game, apparently cake vs ice cream didn't have it either

I remember how hype this was when this splatfest happened. I was 15 years old then. Where does the time go man... Splatoon 3 isn't the same. Team Chaos for life BTW. And i'm glad Team Order is finally getting what they fought for after all these years. Side Order releases in 10 days as I write this

Oh my man. I still get the hype filling, the chills, the rush when Pearl decends! To top this splatfest would be an absolute miracle!

I don’t usually play splatfests, but I did participate to the final splatfest, and got into a 100x battle! I was getting the hang of the Tetra dualies (the ones who can dash 4 times) but as soon as the match started, I _s p r i n t e d_ towards the opposite spawn. I ignored the enemy team and focused on blowing up their giant bombs before they could. By the time I respawned, the other team was starting to clean up the mess I made while my team almost completely covered up our side. I can proudly say that we won hands down this match :)

Finally a youtuber on order i chose order too sadly we lost :(

Anytime team order fired the princess cannon they basically stole it from Pearl

I’ve had Splatoon 2 since a few months before the Octo Expansion. I completed Hero Mode, and then I left it. I didn’t have Nintendo Online at the time, so I didn’t have to much interest in it. Then in quarantine, I was bored so I went through my Switch games, and found Splatoon again. I got the 7-day free trial, and I had a blast. When I realised the Final Fest had already happened, I was so angry at myself for missing out. But hey, the Splatfests aren’t fully over, I can always replay the Shifty Stations anyways, and Splatoon will never die. Who’s excited for the Star vs Mushroom Splatfest? I’m team Super Star!

As someone who’s only played splatoon 3, I am so sad I missed out on splatoon 2. It seems like such a cool experience. One day I’ll play octo expansion, but until then I’ll just have to watch it on RU-vid

I love the fact that you can see the statue from octo expansion in the background, leaving players who haven't played octo expansion a bit confused until they play it and realise

I so desperately wish that I played in this splatfest. Unfortunately, I joined the game a bit too late :( This map and it’s gimmicks are SO COOL, I hope we actually get shifty stations later on in Splatoon 3 because we’ve just been playing on basic maps so far.

Man I loved this splatfest, I fought tooth and nail w my mates on team order, and god damn did we have a blast. We got this map like 3 times and it was amazing, we sorta had this system where we’d have 3 go forward and cover territory as much as we could and meet them head on while our forth guy got the ink bombs in our zones popped and join us. One of us had those long range missiles that targets like everyone on the team, he got back and fired them off while dashing forward to try catching one in the confusion while we got more turf and helped him out. Needless to say this wasn’t perfect but my god it got us some wins, I hope the splatfests now that splatoon 3 is out end up being as intense and possibly even grander in scale

When I got introduced to the franchise in Splatoon 2, this Splatfests was already over. Nonetheless, Splatoon 2 became my instant favorite game, which is crazy considering I missed so much of it. It was such a charming and unique game. Every aspect of it was done with care, even the things you don't pay attention to. I enjoy Splatoon 3, it is probably better in many aspects, but Splatoon 2 has a special place in my heart.

I REALLY wished I played against more order teams, despite only being a tiny bit popular it felt like I was just playing regular turf war but at night. 😔

Imagining winning after your teammate disconnected out of no where

this was my first ever splatfest, I chose team order and missed all but the final day due to a camping trip. I didn't own the Octo Expansion at the time and had in fact barely even gotten Splatoon 2 in the first place, so I never noticed any of the references in this stage. I remember liking the music and thinking it was cool Off the Hook was performing in the helicopter. Also, I never once noticed Pearl descending at the center nor did I ever see anyone fire the Princess Cannon (which is why it's funny to me seeing other people talk about how amazing that moment was in this comment section). Anyways, I hope to do better in the next final fest.

I liked the colors and it was awesome

The fact you can summon pearl or marina in this stage might have been hinting towards the ultra signal in Splatoon 3 since it lets you get help from the idol leading your team
