Speaking from the heart.... I just didn't want Off The Hook to break up. That is the main reason I joined Team Order. I was worried that Pearl that would be like, "I win! Peace out, Octo Jailbait!". I'm so happy that she just wants Off the Hook to do different kinds of music. I'm ok with losing, So long as this fictional duo stick together. I realized how popular Chaos was when I had to be fighting them alot instead of the opposing side (Team Order). So I knew right away Chaos would win the popular votes
Comparing this to the first game's Finalfest, this really shows a huge contrast. The first Finalfest was basically the Squid Sisters saying one final farewell to their fans as they were going to go their separate ways, and just wanted to know who the fans preferred. (Unfortunately it did seem like Callie died a little inside and was doing her best to hide it from the public.) Off the Hook, on the other hand, this Splatfest brought them closer together. Marina legitimately thought that Pearl was gonna leave her and was panicking because she won, but Pearl insisted that this will never happen and that they will take on the world together. No matter what happens, these two will be there for each other. I actually respect Nintendo for not doing a "Pearl vs Marina" Splatfest as this would undermine the symbolic bond that Off the Hook has formed, where no matter the differences between two characters, they can be an inseperable pair.
I always remembered the time Pearl made the announcement Off The Hook was breaking… into new genres of music And seeing them STILL together in Splatoon 3, now branching into a new genre of music merged with another brand just… aaaaaaaa it’s so heartwarming

To be perfectly honest chaos winning doesn’t feel like much. We already live in a post apocalyptic society. And agent 7 is gonna be in Splatoon 3 anyways. And their gonna make Pearl be the villain instead of Marina.

The fact that despite quite a large minority compared to a lot of splatfests, that Order still got really close in terms of clout is really impressive. The entire time I was thinking "Oh god, Chaos isn't going to have a chance", because I felt like Order was doing REALLY good. GG to everyone, it was one of the few fests I ever did, but it was a really fun time.

I went into the fest knowing team order would win. Marina has always been more popular than Pearl, and Marina played some pretty powerful feels during her pre-fest speech. But... despite everything.. Chaos won. Even though I lost a x100 for you guys, we came out on top. Big ups to my fellow Chaos teammates, and congrats to team order. Even though you guys lost, you put up one helluva fight. Who knows? Callie and Marie also didn't say they were breaking up after the final fest (I think so, I can't remember it 100% anymore). Yet it happened. Maybe Pearl and Marina will be forcefully broken up during the plot of Splatoon 3.

im starting to notice that there was a pattern, in splatton 1 had the final splatfest of that game, the winner of the vote was marie, in splatoon 2, she wasnt captured, callie was, in chaos vs order in splatoon 2 final splatfest, chaos won, and what was on the trailer of the splatoon 3... a chaotic world, where there was drought every where, there was absolute after the apocalpse, i may be just over thinking, but... what if our choices do matter in the final splatfest's from the games?
@@shahpurkhan4725 Nah, I really feel Pearl and Marina kinda need each other more than Callie and Marie did. They'll probably stick together. There is, however, a nontrivial chance they'll be sticking together in a world set on fire due to Pearl's rash decisionmaking.

I was in Team Chaos, but nearly all the Order opponents that I faced were amazing, I had a lot of close calls in my fights and the battles I had with you guys gave me a huge thrill. So congrats to everyone for playing so well!
Sucks that my switch broke about a month before the Final Fest. But I’m just glad chaos won! So all of you who got your rewards, enjoy them, and may the Splatfest Series rest in woomy.
