With the continued success of my splatoon 2 stereotypes series, you guys kept requesting that I do the splatoon 2 hero mode. The hero mode aka the splatoon 2 single player came out with the release of splatoon 2 and was a fun and easy mode. It takes about 5 hours so most people could do it in a couple sittings. Some people I included were splatoon 2 completionists and splatoon 2 speedrunners. What types of players are you in hero mode? I usually visit the octo canyon just to throw an autobomb behind Marie and shoot her in front. When I pan the camera so it’s a bird’s eye view.. She doesn’t have ink on her..

I had my internet broken for a while, so I played the story mode. not gonna lie, i struggled with some levels. Mostly because I struggled using some weapons and I've never played Splatoon 1. also, new outro gang yuh

Honestly I feel like that's mostly what the story mode in Splatoon 2 is for lol. If you have to go for a period without internet, you will at least have *something* to do.

You should do "what people do with their controllers with each weapon while in use". For snipers you should show a clip of you holding the trigger down and when you let go. Throw your controller across the room. Boom you got content

4:07 if you pause at this part, inside the glass room with the graffiti there is a carbon roller or an enemy roller on the right side of the room (I'm not sure but you can go a few milliseconds back to be sure)

The Completionist *Me.* It took me weeks to beat Hero Mode because I wouldn't even fight Octavio until I beat all the levels with every single weapon. I wanted those replicas. XD On the plus side, I did learn a sweet strategy for taking care of the Octo Shower with short-ranged weapons. ^^;

I'm definitely the Splatoon noob when I first got this, I mostly played Hero Mode on my account until I gave in and my own Switch Online subscription! Xbox Live got nothing on Switch Online! We got Splatoon 2, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and more for only $20 a year!

Definitely the first one. I didn't have nintendo online and I literally had to Google how to find the second level because apparently I'm blind af. But I'm honestly glad that I completed it before going online. It was great practice for someone who has never played Splatoon and never played with motion controls. Now I'm level 45 and aiming for 100%. Also I'm still trying to Ink Marie rip

I never played the first game, but I’m fairly good in splatoon 2 and the hero mode only took me about 2hrs a day for like 2 1/2 weeks but it was too easy except for some levels

I spent hours, nay, days, nay, weeks 1000% hero mode. I did it. I got every weapon. Every skin. And less than a week later, I had to move to a new state where the only available internet was too slow to play splatoon in the rare occasion it was even on. My life is f******torture

I don't have a switch or internet, but I know I'd be the type to take a while to complete a level because 1. Not one for confrontation. I like to keep a fair distance between myself and my adversary. I hide before I make a move. In short, 'stealth 100'. I know for sure it would take some time for me to beat a level. 2. I'm at the mercy of Octoling girl AI...can't play against them to save my life. Luckily, avoiding/going around them is an option. Except in a few cases...

I’m like the first one but before it usually took me 5-10 minutes to beat a level. Now I can beat the octoling levels in less than two minutes

I played the hero mode before the multiplayer because I was travelling and we stopped at a shopping centre and I went to ebgames and saw Splatoon 2 and I was thinking “ I’ve seen people play it and it seems fun.” I never played Splatoon 1but I bought it anyway. But because I was travelling I had no internet so I played hero mode.

I knew it existed I just didn’t realize what to do until after a few months once I finally knew how to do it I was pretty decent at the game so fun for some reason it was difficult to do Octavio even though now it’s like a walk in the park
