Ahoy all! The freshest game recently dropped and I’ve been having a blast! I spent my first day 100%’ing the story mode. Here are all the mistakes I made PLUS the bad ending. Of course, MAJOR spoilers for the entire game. Enjoy! (:
11:10 If you go back and get the bad ending, all of Deep Cut has their own final message! Shiver: No! NO! We didn’t make it… Frye: Splatsville! We failed yooou! Big Man: Aaay… (We were too late…) (Yes I researched all bad ending videos to find these. No it was not a waste of time.)
Apparently, the last thing I heard frye say was that good old "waht za fawk" I still wonder if big man would turn into a furry despite being a fibsh But then again I haven't read the whole lore yet Why can't I get the falling.jpeg out of my head
Actually, the missions always have a dispenser of ink above you. All that O.R.C.A. does is use a light which upon looking at it either blinds you or paralyzes you (I wonder what type of light is that, because I've never been frozen in place EVER, and I've looked at all sorts of lights. Oh well, I'm sure O.R.C.A. knows, being the Omniscient Recording Computer of Alterna and all), and then activate the dispenser to splat you to your doom. I get what you were trying to say, though. It DOES look like a UFO
3:02 compulsive gambler’s was FRUSTRATING!! It took me almost like 10 FRICKING TRIES TO COMPLETE USING THE OCTOBRUSH! That level will give me nightmares!
7:34 that’s actually not a game over its just like the octo expansion but when you run out of power eggs it’s still not a game over you just can’t finish the mission
Besides 3 levels in particular the rest was pretty straight forward. I missed out on octo expansion however I could easily see this mode took heavy inspiration from it. Regardless I really enjoyed the story mode.
I don’t actually own the octo expansion and splatoon 2’s regular story mode pretty much uses the same animations as Splatoon 3. I don’t think there’s much need to make a video sorry.
Quick question, what if you lose all three lives in the level, what’s the Game Over screen similar to (Octo Expansion’s one or the RIP screen in earlier games?) 7:35 Oh that’s how.
C.Q Cumber had more involvement with the plot of octo Expansion compared to O.R.C.A who was more on the sidelines. So therefore I gotta go with C.Q Cumber
