ive decided i want to focus on having original content on this channel, so i’ll be moving all OST uploads to a side channel, find it here: youtube.com/@GemPostsSongs?si=IU5hJITBSvLFWBm- (DRIZZLE SEASON SONGS HAVE BEEN POSTED THERE) these uploads won’t be going anywhere for a while, but new OST posts will be on the new channel sorry for the inconvenience
Thanks for letting us know!! Id much prefer being told in advance rather than having the songs suddenly dissapear Wishing you the best of luck with your content! ^^
Ska-blam is more playful, Three-horn-circus is just goofy and fun, and this one feels like the most serious out of the trio. Loving all the new songs, really hope we get more soon!
Just a lil amendment but the band actually has 7 members, just their album cover only shows 3 unfortunately. I'm sure once artbooks for the DLC come out (in japan) we'll get to learn the rest of their members. And yes this song is I think my fav out of the 3, probably my 2nd fav in the game now with Ska-blam in a close 3rd or 4th
Payday/Splatoon crossover: you're a squad of Octarian scouts in the middle of stealing the Great Zapfish, and this blares through the speakers as you escape
The song gives donkey kong vibes because it has a swung rhythm, the drums sometimes play the tom drums, and there's brass instruments play some bluesy licks
yeah, which makes it my favorite song of all time now. i honestly liked Donkey Kong 1st but i no longer play it now, but it's still a good game in my opinion
@@Magic_Mango No, it's what you get when Jamaicans combine Calypso WITH New Orleans R&B and Jazz (according to wikipedia). We don't call rock music a type of jazz just cause jazz influenced it.
Yoko and the gold bazookas somehow reminds me of Bottom feeders, like a mix of them and ink theory. Something about the way these songs use their vocals
@@eeeeggnog._. considering the band went from punk jazz to more classical ska it makes sense, also this song being in swing adds to the connection between them and bottom feeders
whenever this tune plays in my matches, i like to yell "LET'S FUCKING GOOO" at the top of my lungs and focus on splats. sorry team, those blues really just rock my gilly.
Of all S3 battle music bands, Yoko & The Gold Bazookas gotta be my favorite. I mean just listen to 0:43. This is literally peak. The hammond organ in the mix just ties everything together, too. I appreciate the splatoon composers trying a different genre and they did it so well. I like how it doesn't just feel like a copy of Ink Theory, but rather its own unique sound. Also can we appreciate that Tao Blu (the band's trombonist) is a blue-ringed octopus, which is one of the deadliest poisonous creatures in the sea? She's so freaking cool and we love her. Also, a neat pun with her being a blue-ringed octopus and she plays *blues*. :]
✨Imagine✨ What if you keep losing turf wars like ten times in a row or more and finally you crush the other team with a whopping 97.0-3.0. Nintendo gave birth to a new ultimate comeback song. 0:44 best part btw❤❤❤
Both this and Ska Blam are gonna be SO fast ☠️ Ska Blam has the title of the fastest splatoon song as of now So I wonder how hard that song would be in Squid Beatz 🤔
this is goddamn killer. way better than 90% of the songs in 3's ost (sorry. i love them still and paintscraper is a huge bop, just sick of the jazzy vibe after having 130+ hours in mainly playing turf war and whatnot) and im way excited to hear more :+)
I think it's one thing that you've gotten a little tired of listening to them again and again and quite another that it's infinitely superior to most, which I don't agree with.
@@kisamuel2666 i dont think its infinitely superior by any means !! i just like the vibe more than the other tracks, im a huge music and splatband fan anyways as is so it was nice to see like.. new splatband stuff anyways ^_^
I think you've got your genres mixed up, this is the most jazzy band in Splatoon 3's entire ost lmao, the rest of the multiplayer tracks are quite gritty rock songs
